Roosevelt Boys Golf keeps rolling in Metro Athletic Conference play, picking up another conference victory with a 175-227 win over Woodridge at Silver Lake Country Club! 🔥

Representing Roosevelt were Jax Turner, Andrew VanDamme, Owen Puhalla, Garrett Polcha, Anderson Liggett and Zakary Kelling.

⚽️ A STRONG MAC START FOR OUR JV RIDERS!

Our JV Boys Soccer team opened Metro Athletic Conference play Tuesday in impressive fashion, earning a 5-0 victory over Tallmadge! 🔥

A great showing from this young group of Rough Riders as they make their mark in Roosevelt’s first season in the MAC. Plenty more to come! 👏⚽️

⛳️ HOLE IN ONE!

A big congratulations to 2024 Roosevelt graduate Brad Simms, who recently recorded a hole-in-one at Sugar Bush Golf Club, acing Hole No. 2 from 166 yards! 🎯

Brad was a standout three-sport athlete during his time at Roosevelt, competing in golf, hockey and lacrosse, and is now attending The Ohio State University in Columbus.

Once a Rough Rider, always a Rough Rider — and we love celebrating our alumni! Congratulations, Brad! 👏⛳️

Roosevelt Girls Golf took care of business at Brookledge tonight, picking up Metro Athletic Conference wins over Norton and Woodridge! 🔥

Representing Roosevelt were Brooke Beatty, Coco Golden, Makenna Ward, Mia Turner, Aubrey Byler, and Mia Pipoly.

📣 A SHOUTOUT TO THE ONES WHO KEEP THE GAMES GOING!

As another fall sports season gets underway, we want to recognize a group essential to high school athletics — our officials!

Last night, we caught this crew from Law Five Assigning during halftime of our soccer match. Appropriately enough, the name comes straight from the game itself — Law 5 is “The Referee.” ⚽️

They’re just a few of the many officials we’ll welcome to Roosevelt events this fall…giving their time, making the tough calls, and allowing our student-athletes to compete.

It’s not always an easy job, especially when everyone in the stands thinks they could do it. 😂 But without officials, there simply aren’t games.

To all of our fall officials — thank you for being part of high school athletics!

🔥⚽️ MAKING THEIR PRESENCE KNOWN IN THE MAC!

It was a beautiful night under the lights at Roosevelt Stadium, and the Rough Riders made sure their first-ever Metro Athletic Conference match was one to remember!

Roosevelt Boys Soccer came out firing, taking down Tallmadge 5-2 and making a statement from day one in their new league.

New conference. Home turf. Winning start. 💪⚽️

🔥 SOME NIGHTS JUST LOOK BETTER IN BLACK & WHITE.

And a 9-0 win in the first-ever MAC match? This was one of them.

✔️ A ROUGH RIDER STATEMENT!

The Rough Rider women opened their inaugural Metro Athletic Conference competition in dominant fashion, taking down Tallmadge 9-0! ⚽️

The scoring attack came from all across the team, with eight different Rough Riders finding the back of the net. Leading the way was Audrey Haines with two goals, while Maggie Pazderak added a goal and two assists to help fuel the offensive attack.

Our defense and keeper posted a clean sheet, consistently winning the ball and starting counterattacks from the back.

A complete team performance from start to finish. 💪⚽️
