STANTON XC TAKES ON THE HILLS! ⛰️

Stanton XC battled one of the hilliest courses around at the Woodridge CVNP Invitational and turned in some impressive performances!

🎉 Clara Reyes & Tooba Adn — NEW PRs!

👏 Finn Tipton, Nate Dockstader, Will Wilson, Grace Flynn, Kaitlyn Pickering, Macy Moore & Peyton Milton all finished within about 30 seconds of their PRs, especially impressive on such a challenging course!

📈 Emma Mills, Mike Menyes, Clara Reyes, & Nate Dockstader are now more than TWO MINUTES faster than their first race, while Zoe Mistur has improved by nearly SIX MINUTES!

So much growth from this group. Way to attack those hills, Stanton! 💪

🥃🥍 $16,400 RAISED FOR ROUGH RIDER BOYS LACROSSE! 🔥

What an incredible fundraiser! The final numbers are in, and the Rough Rider Boys Lacrosse Bourbon Raffle raised an amazing $16,400 for the program!

A HUGE shoutout to Nate Marshall for his assistance in making this fundraiser such a tremendous success! Nate put a ton of time and effort into helping make this happen, and we are so appreciative of everything he did to support Rough Rider Boys Lacrosse. 👏

Congratulations to our raffle winner, Irwin H.! 🥃🏆

And THANK YOU to everyone who purchased a ticket, helped spread the word and supported our student-athletes. Raising $16,400 is an incredible show of support from our Rough Rider community!

❤️🖤 THANK YOU, ROUGH RIDERS!

🔥 AN UNDEFEATED MAC FINISH — ON A NIGHT THAT MEANT SO MUCH MORE. ⚽🩷

Tuesday night was a special one at Roosevelt Stadium as Roosevelt Boys Soccer defeated Streetsboro to finish the Metro Athletic Conference regular season UNDEFEATED while also coming together for Breast Cancer Awareness Night.

The Rough Riders took the field in their pink jerseys, sponsored by Plato’s Closet, and they definitely shined under the bright lights!

⚽ Isan Roberts — goal + assist
⚽ Kellen Obraza — goal
⚽ Kevin Zifchak — goal
🎯 Aaron McKinney — assist
🚫 Eli Barkley — CLEAN SHEET in goal!

Before the game, Crystal Zepprich, mother of a Streetsboro senior captain, presented the game balls. After the final whistle, the two teams came together for photos — a great example of sportsmanship on a night that was about much more than soccer.

The Riders also made an impact off the pitch, donating $650 to the Josette Beddell Memorial Foundation! Funds were raised through PK challenges with the support of community sponsors, spirit wear sales and jersey replica sales. UH Portage Medical Center was also on hand providing information and resources.

An undefeated MAC regular season, a great night of soccer and an even better reminder of what it means to use sports to support something bigger than the game. 👏
