Are you pregnant? Pregnancy can make it harder for your body to stay cool, so it’s easier to get sick from the heat. On hot days, drink plenty of water, stay in cool or shaded places, take breaks, and avoid overdoing it. Ask your doctor about safely replacing salt and minerals lost through sweating, and keep an eye on local heat alerts. If you notice any signs of heat‑related illness, get medical care right away.

Looking for a job? Our workforce development program is holding a job fair on Wednesday, May 27 from 1-3 p.m. at New Hope Ministries in Pennsylvania's Mechanicsburg location. More than 10 employers have already signed up. See you there!
