In the spirit of being a responsible business owner I feel it's right to let everyone know that I've tested positive for Covid. I just got my test results today. Thankfully I haven't worked since Thursday (27th) and my symptoms started on Sunday (30th) so according to the CDC and the health department contact tracer no one at the salon was exposed (clients or coworkers). We continue to have a firm mask policy for stylists and clients and have been vigilant about disinfecting and sterilizing which we have been doing since we reopened in May for this very reason. I am recovering at home and starting to feel better.

Some think there’s a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, looks to us like it’s actually Monarch Salon!!

As many of our clients already know, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel our appointments during the last 2 weeks.
As of today that decision has been has been taken off our shoulders. All salons will cease to see clients until April 30 as mandated by Camden County.
As difficult as this will be, we are hopeful that this will make a difference in the amount of people who will remain healthy in our community.
If you have not been contacted by your stylist yet, please be patient, you will be. We have allot of clients to contact and reschedule and will be doing so over the next few days. We will miss you all over the coming month and can't wait to be back in the salon doing what we love.

We want to send out a big thank you to all of our clients that we have been rescheduling during this crazy time. Everyone has been so understanding about the fact that we are having to delay appointments. Hang in there!! Don't get out those kitchen scissors yet!! We will be back at it as soon as we can.

In light of the corona virus situation, we at Monarch felt that we should let our clients know that we are being extra aware of sanitizing frequently touched areas, and vigilant about hand washing and sanitizing to ensure a clean salon environment for our guests. While it's important to be cautious at this time, we also understand that we must continue living our lives as normally as possible and this includes self care and maintenance.

Exciting things happening at Monarch Salon!! We have a beautiful new space for our mani/pedi lounge and a "selfie spot" with a custom backdrop for taking salon photos. And more to come... Stay tuned...
