A big thank you to Dorothy Hughes and Scott Bandeko of Partner’s Construction.
We recently decided to incorporate our garage into our home to increase our living room square footage. The project involved repairing an outer load bearing wall that had termite damage in the existing garage. Scott and his crew did an excellent job of replacing all the damaged studs and sill plate. They then had to frame out a floor to raise and level the existing floor to meet the level of our living room. The wall and entrance way between the 2 spaces was then removed. Scott and his crew enclosed the area that had been a side entrance to the garage by walling it in. The garage door opening was framed in and a bank of windows was installed. Scott did all the finishing material on the outside of the addition and trimmed out the new windows. Not only did it double our living room space, but the design brought our laundry room into the home down a hall off the kitchen. We love it. Scott knew that we wanted a gas fireplace in the middle of the new back wall of our living room. He took it on himself to frame out the firebox and get it ready for the installation of our bookcase wall that we wanted on the rest of the wall. His work was excellent and his ideas on how to best make it work for us was right on.
We were so pleased with the expansion of our living room that we called Partner’s Construction again for another project in our home. We had a screened in back porch that we wanted to convert to living space off our kitchen. The screen porch was on a slab and shared a wall with the kitchen. Scott and his crew reframed the outer walls for new windows and 2 entrance doors. We wanted as much window space as possible to take advantage of the view. The crew than installed the outside finish material and trimmed out the windows and doors. The new room is beautiful and has become our gathering place to relax and have friends and family over.
I would recommend Partner’s Construction for any building or remodeling needs. The crew is very knowledgeable and stays with the job until it is finished. Scott Bandeko, the crew leader has been in construction many years and understands what will and won’t work as well as having a good eye for design. Partner’s Construction is dependable, very good at what they do and work for a reasonable price.
