Be A Bookworm
Be A Bookworm provides books to kids of disadvantaged backgrounds -- books that inspire, teach positive values, and encourage the love of reading.
Our Story
Recognizing that many children in Orange County, CA do not have adequate access to books, our founders began donating children’s books to homeless shelters, transitional housing facilities and community service centers in 2019. Soon we were becoming aware of further needs. We formed Be A Bookworm in 2021 to address these needs. Be A Bookworm has applied for 501 (c) (3) nonprofit public benefit charity status, and is run entirely by volunteers.
