Greeley stampede!!!

One that’s been on the bucket list for a while can be checked off the list.

It was a fun experience, and even with Tomcat taking a wide first barrel, he showed just how fast he is and still brought home $370!

This boy just shines brighter and brighter once he’s seen an arena a time or two. And the more he sees it the faster he gets and he had never been there!
But that’s okay, because he’s so easy to haul, takes everything in stride, and somehow always seems to land exactly where he needs to be to pull a check.

Before the run, I told Juliette, “You need an 18.9, that’s what’s winning the youth 2D right now.”

Well, this team went out there and ran an 18.9 exactly. 😂 That’s why you hear me laughing at the end!

So proud of these two and everything they’re accomplishing together.

This horse is looking GOOD, feeling GOOD, and absolutely crushing this season!

He keeps getting faster and faster, but what I love most is how hard he tries to please his girl. Before the race, he looks like the sleepiest horse around and I always start worrying he’ll be slow that day.

Then the gate opens and it’s like he says, “Don’t worry little girl, I’m ready.” 💥

The way he flips that switch and gives it his all every single run is pretty incredible. So grateful for this amazing horse and excited to see what the rest of the season has in store!

What a fantastic and successful weekend in the books! ❤️🐴

Juliette and Tomcat placed and won money all three days at the Run at the Rose in Montrose, which is pretty incredible considering she was running against super tough competition

🏆 Friday: 17.0 — 4th place in the Youth 3D
🏆 Saturday: 16.9 — 3rd place in the Youth 3D
🏆 Sunday: 16.7 — 1st place in the Open 4D (running against adults and pros) and 4th in the youth 2D

She is coming home with a $1,427 check, but honestly, the money is just a bonus. The confidence she gained, the happiness she felt, the pride in her hard work, and the gratitude she has for her horse are worth so much more.

Watching the partnership between her and Tomcat continue to grow has been amazing. Every run this weekend was faster than the one before, and seeing her trust her horse and believe in herself is something special.

So proud of you, Juliette. And Tomcat, you were absolutely incredible this weekend. ❤️
