After staring the suet rendering process 4 days ago…I am official done. I popped the last of the batch from the ice cube trays this morning! I know it is a much longer process to put the tallow in the cube trays but so much easier when I go to cook with some tallow of use it in my balms. Of the 40 pounds that I started with I got 23lbs and 8oz of finished pure tallow!
Also, realized that I need to make more Lavender balm for my inventory. On to the next project. 😊 What are you up to today?
Processing suet into tallow is a very long and tedious process. I believe it is totally worth it though, as I know exactly where these animals lived and what they were fed to insure a great all natural product in the end. So blessed to have this life, God is good.

Do you suffer from headaches? Want to try a natural solution for relief? Let me know if you would like to try one! I also have some that don’t have eucalyptus and more mild.

On the list of things to do tomorrow…start the rendering process for 40lbs of suet. I am hoping we can chop it up tonight to get onto the roaster through the night. Weekends around here get really crazy! lol 😂

As I was pulling into the driveway the other day I noticed that the Sherrif that stands guard was down for the count! 😢 The wind around here sure has him dancing around a lot! Last weekend Clint had to fix him up. I am glad to report that he is once again standing guard. 😊
