✨ JOIN US ✨The Georgia Department of Community Affairs has designated Downtown Cairo as a R.U.R.A.L. Zone Tax District (Revitalizing Underdeveloped Rural Areas Legislation) to support our mission in downtown development. This designation from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs provides tax incentives to those that created new jobs, invest in commercial properties, and restore historic buildings.

Due to this exciting opportunity, Cairo Main Street and Downtown Development Authority will be providing a free in person event to will help those understand the tax credits! Guests speakers will include Amanda Glover, Downtown Director of Bainbridge, GA and Heather Sharpe, Region 10 Representative for the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.

So be sure to join us on Tuesday, April 16th from 6-8 PM. Light hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be available.
