Lincoln 90i FC review.
First impression: Huh! That’s cute. It’s about the size of a tall toaster.
1. Honestly, a little bit of a pain in the butt to load the first time. I figured out a few things to simplify it for the future.
2. Smooth feed. I was impressed. The system is simple and fairly ID-10-T proof. (That’s a good thing for me.)
3. Good solid start! I was impressed. I started it about 3/3 for the initial run but maxed it out shortly after. (Pretty sure I dimmed the shop lights but idk. I was under the hood. Sooo…)
4. Smoooth!
I was a little skeptical with it being so small but it’s totally capable up to 120a. I’m impressed. Even comes with a shoulder strap to turn it into a man purse! Comes complete with an instruction manual if your into that. Pffft! (I totally had to use it. Shhhh!) I
It’s a badazz little box. No gas hook up. Flux only but it will have it’s place in my shop for sure.
Pro tip: If it’s been a while since you welded, give it a couple extra minutes than you remember for it to cool off before you bare hand the piece.

My Project from this past week. It's a travel case for a Vintage Hammond Jazz Organ. It was commissioned by a co-worker at the day job. It was a neat job to do and definitely taught me a few things.

Two more months of this double duty and I'll be burning up some woodwork, planting my garden and getting back to what I do best. Making sawdust. I look forward to my new career as a welder, but my woodshop needs my love and attention, dearly.
