We wanted to inform you all about common Grooming Tactics of Child Predators, so you can help protect your children!
Child predators rarely begin with obvious abuse. Grooming is often a gradual process designed to build trust, lower a child's defenses, and make it harder for them to speak up. Many offenders are someone the child already knows, they are not always a stranger.

Recognizing these patterns can help protect children.

1. They Make the Child Feel Special
They may single one child out with extra attention or praise. Common phrases include "You're so mature for your age." "You're my favorite." "You're different from other kids." "No one understands me like you do." "I can talk to you about things I can't tell anyone else."

2. They Use Gifts or Favors
They may buy gifts, give money, offer rides, provide food, or let the child do things other adults wouldn't allow. This isn't always about generosity, sometimes it's about creating a feeling that the child "owes" them. Common phrases include "Don't worry about paying me back." "This is just for you." "Don't tell anyone—I don't want the others getting jealous." "You've earned it."

3. They Encourage Secrets
Healthy adults don't ask children to keep secrets from trusted caregivers. Common phrases include "This is our little secret." "Promise you won't tell." "Your parents wouldn't understand." "They'll just overreact." "This stays between us." Teach children the difference between surprises (temporary and eventually shared) and secrets that someone insists must never be told.

4. They Isolate the Child
They look for opportunities to be alone with the child. Some examples are offering private lessons, giving rides alone, inviting them over without others present, wanting one-on-one outings, pulling them away from friends or family. Common phrases include "Let's go somewhere quieter." "It's better if it's just us." "No one else needs to come."

5. They Test Boundaries
Boundary violations often start small. Some examples are unwanted hugs, tickling that doesn't stop, sitting too close, age inappropriate jokes, ignoring when a child says "NO." Common phrases include "Don't be so sensitive." "I'm just playing." "You're no fun." "It's just our thing."

6. They Create Emotional Dependence
They try to become the child's main source of comfort or support. Common phrases include "I'm the only one who really gets you." "You can tell me anything." "Your parents don't understand you." "You don't need anyone else."

7. They Use Guilt and Manipulation
If a child resists, emotional pressure often follows. Common phrases include "You'll hurt my feelings." "After everything I've done for you." "I thought you cared about me." "You'll get me into trouble." "You'll ruin my life if you tell anyone."

8. They Groom Online
Online grooming can include things like constant messaging, asking to move chats to private apps, requesting photos, sending gifts in games, and asking the child to delete conversations. Common phrases include "Don't show anyone our messages." "Delete this chat." "Let's talk somewhere more private." "Your parents don't need to know."

9. They Groom the Adults Too!!
Predators often work to gain the trust of parents, caregivers, teachers, coaches, or communities by appearing exceptionally kind, dependable, or helpful. They may volunteer frequently around children, offer free babysitting or transportation, be everyone's "favorite" adult, and build a reputation as someone who would "never do that" A trustworthy reputation should never replace healthy boundaries or accountability!!!

Kids need to hear and understand you can always say no to unwanted touch. Safe adults don't ask children to keep secrets from trusted caregivers. If something feels wrong, you can tell a trusted adult. You will not be in trouble for asking for help. If one adult doesn't listen, tell another trusted adult.
The goal isn't to make children afraid of adults. It's to help families recognize concerning patterns early, encourage open conversations, and create environments where children know they can ask for help without fear.

***DISCLAIMER***
One behavior by itself does not necessarily mean someone is grooming a child. Many of these actions can also occur in healthy relationships. What matters is the overall pattern, especially when it involves secrecy, repeated boundary violations, isolation, manipulation, or increasing control.

Please consider sharing this information. Awareness can help adults recognize warning signs sooner and support children in staying safe.

🚨BREAKING: Florida authorities have dismantled a massive international child po*******hy operation involving more than one million videos, many showing the horrific sexual abuse of babies.

Florida Attorney General declared: “If you are a child predator, if you are one of these sick people, then I hope you NEVER SEE THE SUN AGAIN.”

He continued, “Over a million videos showing sexual abuse of minors, many of these were babies... that are being sold around the world.”

“As a dad of three little ones, it’s tough to talk about some of this stuff, but what these guys were doing was truly heinous. There’s not a word in the English dictionary that can describe the gross content that was on the videos.”

Eight suspects are now facing multiple felony charges, including RICO, money laundering, and purchase of child po*******hy.

Finishing the day at my home VFW Post 214 in Lawrenceville Pennsylvania!

First a shout out to Marissa who was the first in line to help out Tier III’s mission, to help out our Partner The Asservo Project.

I’ve decided that what better way than start reaching out and getting help from this awesome Veterans organization.

I wanted our first VFW venue to be Post 214 before I start to schedule at other VFW’s.We veterans gave an oath to protect from enemies foreign and domestic. This mission I’m on to help Asservo is my way of fighting those enemies.
#

The people at our VFW’s are great people who help in the communities.

Why the mission? 250billion dollars a year in Human Trafficking! 25 million slaves worldwide.

If we do nothing to help stop it we are part of the problem and that’s why I teamed up. With T.A.P and why I’m working as the founder of Tier III to work with good organizations to help my mission.

Thank you to the warm reception that our post commander Jimmy McGinnley. He’s a great guy and good commander.

Happy Fourth of July!
