Three Rivers Free Will Baptist Church

Last Saturday , several of us went bowling at the Mars Lanes…good thing we don’t take ourselves too seriously…lots of laughs over the gutter balls! Dinner out followed.
…All agreed a fun time!

In February, some of our 3River Ladies got together for lunch and did a Valentine box exchange. We had fun being creative both in decorating and filling them!

A couple of weeks ago, we celebrated Cailin! She recently finished school and passed all of her state boards…you are looking at 3 River’s dental hygienist! We are so very proud of her!

We recently collected diapers and wipes and filled baby bottles with money for the Alpha and Omega Center in Slippery Rock. Their ministry is amazing!!!

Last evening, a group of us went bowling and out for pizza after…a lot of laughing happened! …I don’t see any of us being able to quit our jobs to bowl professionally, if there is such a thing. 😬😂. Ruth at the bowling lanes in Mars took such great care of us!! Thank you, Ruth!!

We don’t pretend to be a perfect people; we know we are not.
Just like everyone else, we face life’s challenges and struggles…and sometimes we mess-up. Sometimes we have messed-up big! However, our “gut” has told us that there surely has to be more to life than just the drudgery of a day to day existence. At 3 Rivers Church, we have found there is meaning to life and that there is a bigger, more beautiful purpose! God has shown us His liberating grace and our goal is to love Him with all our hearts and to show His love to others more and more each and everyday .

We had a great time sharing life and laughing while making these cute Valentine tray favors for our local NH/Rehab. We hope they bring a smile to the patients’ faces. ❤️

This past Tuesday, we had the privilege of serving our local Cranberry Volunteer Fire Department dinner. What a great group of dedicated individuals! Our community is truly blessed because of their sacrifice. Thanks for all you do!

3 Rivers Church will be a Drop-Off Location for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes, again this year. This is our ninth year of involvement!
Individuals and groups lovingly stuff shoeboxes with items that will make children, who live in dire situations/ have experienced horrible life traumas, smile. The boxes will then be "dropped" at 3 Rivers Monday, November 12 through Monday November 19. We will then organize the boxes so they can be shipped on the next leg of their journey, which can include delivery by dugout canoes, horses, etc. We are in need of volunteers to help in various capacities. Please, please consider donating a couple hours of your time; it is such a worthy project, and as usual, when you help others you, too, are blessed! You may message me on FB for further details
