I had a lovely and well deserved personal care day yesterday.
It had been 6 years since I had stood on the ocean shore and felt the sand, waves, and salt air.
That's 5 years too long.
So I took a day and drove down to Virginia Beach. I only spent an hour since it was cooling off and I knew I had to drive home.
AND -
It was SO worth it!
I'm so grateful that I can walk well enough - and balance well enough to stand in the surf.
My soul is replenished!
