Hello Everyone!!! I just created this account (I’m Normally on Instagram).
Long story short my name is Caden Giardino and I’m a 20y.o Jazz Vocalist recently based in Buffalo! I’m looking for a House Band / cats to play out with in the area. I have an expansive knowledge of the Great American Songbook as well as Vocalese. I know a large amount of tunes by heart and can easily adapt to different styles (also a big fan of Bossa Nova, Blues, Funk, Bebop, Swing, etc.) I’ve been jamming out lately and I’m now looking for some people to play live with!
There are not many Male Jazz Vocalists!!!
Some vocalists I’m inspired by: the likes of Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Mel Tormé, Louis Armstrong, Mark Murphy, Lambert Hendricks and Ross, Ella Fitzgerald, Sammy Davis Jr., and many more. Right now I study Jazz with The University at Buffalo Big Band and Combo as well as taking private lessons (including working on S**t Singing!) I create short form covers on instagram and have amassed almost 1000 followers and have had multiple videos reach tens of thousands of people in a few short months.
Anyways I try to encapsulate myself in Jazz and have a REAL passion for it and I’m trying to find others who do too. ‼️If you or someone you know has a venue with a band (or has connections!) or currently plays out please don’t hesitate to reach out here or on Instagram at caden.giardino.jazz (Insta works better!)
