'White Elephant' bill could triple historic tax credit for biggest buildings Buffalo has many giant historic buildings that are badly in need of as much as $300 million of rehab. So state Sen. April N.M. Baskin wants to triple the state's historic tax credit to $15 million for these "white elephants."

The University at Buffalo has finalized a 15-year, $31.75 million agreement with Broadview Federal Credit Union that includes the naming rights for athletic facilities.
