In March at Caged Warfare we witnessed one of the biggest betrayals in Nickel City Wrestling History when Kodiak attacked his Tag Team Partner Shadokat after losing the Tag Team Championships in a Gauntlet match. At April Mayhem last month Kodiak got involved with Shado Jr’s match costing him the Silver Lining Championship! Shadokat didn’t take that too kindly and went straight into battle with Kodiak during the Over The Top Rope #1 Contender Rumble. Both men took it to their personal limits and at the end Shadokat eliminated both himself & Kodiak with Madd Dawg securing the victory. After the match during Madd Dawg’s celebration Kodiak tossed Shadokat off the Stage and a brawl erupted with the whole locker room running out to separate the 2 individuals. Nick Russo made the executive decision to let these 2 men settle their differences one on one at the Batavia Downs on Sunday, June 15th!
