Happy Juneteenth!
07/06/2024
Today I had the honor of standing with the executive board of the Juneteenth Festival and my colleagues in government as we raised the Pan-African flag in Niagara Square kicking off the 49th Annual Juneteenth festivities here in the city of Buffalo.
We have come a long way but we still have ways to go. But during this time, we celebrate and reflect on all the progress we have made in our fight for freedom and equality.
