This is my long time friend/ new landlord..... look how he's made that young lad so sad. Rent gets paid or else! This guy has been here for me through it all, countless late nights helping me move tons of equipment, electrical catastrophes, all of it. Thanks Chris, I couldn't have done it with out you. Just stop making that kid cry. Please.

The Move....thank god its over..

Well, it's been nearly a year since my last post and it has been crazy. In the last 10 months we've gone through some major changes. Phil and I have sadly parted ways as our old shop was abruptly made unavailable to us. I have since started a new company, Kevin McMahon Furniture and Design, moved my shop back to Buffalos booming downtown, had a beautiful baby girl, watched my wife accomplish a bachelors in nursing (in one year!), and am now finally getting to the point where I have some things to share!

Our friend Dan, owner of has been making us custom CNC cutters for specific jobs. He is a wealth of knowledge, and anyone using spinning blades needs to get ahold of these guys. They can custom make you anything from table saw blades to carbide CNC cutters. He's been coming out to the shop every Thursday to show us something new made just for us, and today he took home his custom pistol handle we made for him. It's great to see someone so excited about what they do. Thanks Dan, you're the best.

Here are some progress pics of a modern take on a french provincial armoire for a front entry closet.....

Here's some finished drawings and build pics of the last kitchen we just finished. Lot's of storage and design in a tiny space. Don't be fooled by the wide angle lens, this baby was tiny. We managed a full size dishwasher, pull out trash, blind corner full access, a built in oven and cooktop with three drawers, three pull-out deep pantry cabinets, a slide out bar, appliance garage, concealed microwave and tip down walnut cubbies. Another collaboration with Michael P and a ton more on the docket.

Here's the two kitchens we've been working on for the last month. Next on the docket...... A coral aquarium and living room build in Elma, a french provincial entry armoire, some downtown commercial work and a few more kitchens..... Go Time!
