Thanks to everyone who came out to our run of shows this summer. It was an absolute blast getting back together, getting out in front of some great crowds and performing the songs we've enjoyed over the years.
On a sad note, we need to take this moment to say "so long" to Jeff Kocher, our founding lead guitarist, who needs to step away from playing for a while, for work and family considerations. It's been a great run, and Jeff will always be family to Bruce , Rich, and Mike (yeah that's me writing this). Jeff is an amazing player and is some very large shoes to fill.
That being said, Breakaway has more work coming in 2026, and we need a new guitarist. Guitar skills and vocals are a must, along with a work ethic, and an open mind to be willing to play EVERYTHING. Yes, this is the band that has done ELP, Bruno Mars, Garth Brooks, Genesis, Boston, Tom Petty and Dokken IN THE SAME SET. Thanks to everyone who came out to Riverfest Park last night, it was an awesome time! Many thanks to Greg Belcher on sound, and to Peg and all the Riverfest crew for finding a spot on their schedule for us.
And now, we’re on to Sunset Bar & Grill this Friday. Let’s do this!!!
