One of the best places I've ever visited in abandonment.
This is an abandoned TB hospital in Southern NY.

That dome...Legend has it, this stained glass dome was the very dome President McKinley was assassinated under in the Temple Of Music at the Pan Am Expo in 1901. Since the Temple of Music was a temporary structure, the stained glass dome was moved to this hospital at the end of the expo.

While the peeling hand-painted hallway walls are creepy, I'm told that they served as practice for when patients were released back into the world.
