A little fall has arrived at HER Kitchen. 🍂
Tomorrow Creekside Flowers will be here with farm fresh flowers, pumpkins, flower-covered witch’s brooms, and pumpkins on a stick - and we will our very favorite stuffed dates ((and possibly a new item of two!!))
Two new-ish combinations to try: cashew butter with rose, cardamom + Bolivian rose salt, and almond butter with Chinese five spice + almond dust.
No fresh bread tomorrow from Ashley Smith, but there’s a freezer full of her loaves at half off — so this is your sign to stock up.
Saturday · 10am - 1pm - see you on Hertel !

Last call for tomatoes. 🍅
And last chance to join us Tuesday night for Market to Table: Tomato Party at HER Kitchen.
We’re making the most of one of our favorite parts of the season — cooking with the tomatoes while they’re still everywhere at the market and at their absolute best.
A little cooking, a lot of tasting, a beautiful meal around the table + a few new ways to bring that summer tomato magic home.
Tuesday, September 15 | 6–8 PM
A few spots are still open — head over to HER calendar to join us 🍅

There are still a few spots left for tomorrows Market to Table: Cooking with the Season 🌽🍅
This is honestly my favorite class to teach because I don’t decide the menu until the day before. I head to the farmers market, see what looks best, and let the season decide what we’re cooking.
And right now? Peak summer is giving us SO much to work with — sweet corn, fresh beans, sun-ripened tomatoes, herbs, and an abundance of beautiful local vegetables.
We’ll take those simple, familiar ingredients and learn how to make them feel really special — layering flavors with acids, herbs, spices and texture, while keeping everything balanced and approachable.
You’ll leave with:
🌿 Techniques for creating vibrant summer dishes
🌽 Confidence cooking with peak-season produce
🍅 Ideas for elevating everyday ingredients
🥕 Tips for shopping, storing & using farmers market finds
👩🍳 Seasonal recipes you’ll actually want to make at home
And because the menu is inspired by what’s freshest at the market, every class is a little different.
If you’ve been thinking about joining us, now’s the time. There are still tickets available!
Come cook with the season at HER Kitchen. 🤍
