We’re legal! 💍

Jacob and I officially got courthouse married today ahead of our ceremony with family and friends.

These photos are just screen grabs from my phone filming our very glamorous $125, three-minute visit with the judge (not including the $85 marriage license fee), but after that we celebrated with a photo shoot in downtown Bryan with .booth that I cannot wait to share when the images are ready.

The pups ( ) came along in little bridesmaid dresses, which were stupidly adorable and we shot in downtown and in one of my favorite bookstores. Lovely day. Destination wedding next!

These are the money rules that changed my life. I went from broke and drowning in debt to financially stable and building wealth with multiple income streams — not because of luck, but because of simple, repeatable habits.

Today I’m breaking down the 6 rules I follow to live below my means, avoid lifestyle creep, shop smarter, use and love my things, stay in control of my spending, and build long-term wealth.

If you’ve ever wondered how to live an elevated life on a normal income, this is exactly how I do it.

Do you have any wedding advice for me? What do you wish you knew before your wedding?

My wedding is officially one month away, and while we’re planning a small budget destination wedding, there is still so much left to do. I’m sharing our real wedding budget, destination wedding planning process, what we’ve spent so far and how we’re keeping our wedding affordable without sacrificing what matters most to us.

Long time no see over on the tube 👀

I finally sat down to film a big life update because… a lot has happened. Wedding planning chaos, rental property updates, burnout, therapy dog wins, life getting very full and some harder things too.

Also yes — my wedding is officially one month away and I am wildly underprepared for someone who has been engaged for a year and a half. 💀

I’m also sharing our real destination wedding budget and expenses so far, how we’re keeping things affordable and why I think we may either be doing weddings completely wrong… or exactly right for us.

Had the most phenomenal night at my first book club event, a regency themed event for “a lady’s guide to fortune hunting” - So fun to hang out with some fellow readers and chat all things books! The country club was an incredible venue for it and I can’t wait for the next one!

My work wardrobe cost me $54.48 this week (when calculated at cost per wear). Individual items cost between $12 and $130 originally but I wear and use my clothes! I track cost per wear very imperfectly/ often infrequently so the actual cost is lower, but I still love seeing how much use and joy I can get out of the fashion I love!
