Last week we celebrated our final Brownsburg Farmers Market of the season! We had a blast this year, bringing you POP kid's activities with the Brownsburg Public Library, showcasing our Brownsburg High School art students, and introducing you to some of our local businesses with the Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce. This was our first year bringing beer & wine to the market with our "After Hours Market" and we had so much fun partnering with Books & Brews - Brownsburg to include live music in the event! We thank the farmers, vendors, volunteers, and all who have made the Brownsburg Farmers Market possible, keeping fresh, affordable, and healthy food accessible for Brownsburg. Our Recreation team is busy transitioning into fall events, but planning for the Brownsburg Farmers Market never stops! If you have a suggestion or question, feel free to contact our Market Master at [email protected] GIF by Grapevine DJ & Photobooth

Blast Off Playground: Volunteers Needed for Phase 2!
What do we want?
Volunteers!
When do we need them?
July 13-17!
We need YOUR help to renovate Blast Off Playground this summer! Build site opportunities range from mulching to carpentry. Volunteers should be able to stand for long periods of time, walk over uneven terrain, and have a positive can-do attitude!
Additional volunteer opportunities include assisting in our kid zone area (must pass a background check), assisting in our hospitality tent, and post-project clean-up.
Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e084aa5a82ea1f85-blast1
How Blast Off Playground Was Built
Blast Off Playground was built in 2000 thanks to the hard work of a group of dedicated volunteers including Mary Pat Torbeck, Donna Metallic, and Pam Ancel.
They built the wooden structure over a five-day period, with the help of Leathers & Associates. Feedback of elementary students was also incorporated into the playground’s design.
This year, we are renovating the playground. Help us raise $25,000 to make repairs, add new features, and update playground surfacing at Blast Off Playground!
Your donation will be doubled by a grant from Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority but we need to hit our goal of $25,000 first!
