Our Employment Services assists clients in two capacities, through Pre-Vocational (Pre-Voc) and Vocational Rehabilitation (VR).
Both of these programs are designed to help individuals build skills that are driven toward employment goals and employment placement as the outcome.
Pre-Voc starts with the foundational fundamentals like workplace communication and attire as well as job roles and responsibilities in different employment settings like, clerical, retail, and restaurants.
Our VR clients benefit from community-based services that engage them in the VR processes that start in Discovery where they learn who they see themselves as an employee along with the strengths and interests they have to offer to an employer.
The VR journey can look different for each participant but the integrity of the process is one that the Employment Service department respects and knows the value of.
From Discovery to Stabilization the Employment Consultants guide the engagement of each participant as they learn and build their employment skill-set; help to them to identify employment goals; find their employment placement; and eventually reach their highest level of employment independence.
