We offer an array of unique and individual services for children and adults with disabilities in Indiana

Established in 1996, we provide an array of services for children and adults with disabilities in the State of Indiana. Those services include Applied Behavior Analysis, Adult Day Services, Behavior Management, Counseling, Music therapy, Recreation Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Residential services, Community Habilitation, and Respite Services.

Adult Day Services is a place where individuals develop relationships, work on life skills, develop hobbies and interests, and grow in their independence. In addition, we spend time in the community volunteering, socializing, and working on real world situations.

Our program is located on the southwest side of Indianapolis. Stop by for a visit or call to schedule a tour!

Celebrating independence in working. The Arc is committed to advocating for people with disabilities to have employment opportunities. Our CCIR program provides information to people in sheltered work to learn about options for community employment. Our Erskine Green Training Institute offers vocational training and has an outstanding record of graduates securing and maintaining employment. Many of our chapters provide pre-employment training to students receiving special education services. We are proud to be part of the solution to grow community employment.

takes place every year in July. This is a time to honor the history, achievements, experiences, and struggles of the disability community. It’s a time to show what disability pride means and what people with disabilities are proud of.

Why is this celebration so important? Because it challenges the outdated stereotypes and stigma that too often surround disabilities. Disability Pride Month reminds us that disability is not something to be ashamed of but rather a vital part of our rich human tapestry.

By promoting disability pride, we hope to create a world where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued—no matter their abilities. We want to break down barriers, foster understanding, and build a society that embraces and supports every individual, regardless of their differences.

Did you know we offer a nationally accredited internship in music therapy? Students completing a degree in music therapy at an accredited college, finish course work with a 1000-1200 internship experience before sitting for a board exam.

Since inception in 2013, our music therapy internship has helped 62 students complete their internship requirement.

We have openings for our January 2025 cycle in Indianapolis and Jeffersonville, Indiana.

We are seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to work in our therapy clinic in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Qualified applicants will have a master's degree in applied behavior analysis and be board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). Credentials must be in good standing. Individuals applying should have at least 2 years experience in the field of developmental disabilities. The BCBA will be responsible for a full caseload of early intervention clients.
