Can we fix the light at CR400 and RR (heading N/S), the turn arrow stays red and does not flash yellow (also, we have to sit through an arrow even if there are no cars turning). Thanks
I'm attempting to e-mail the town council, but their e-mail link is not working.

And there are no phone number for them.

How do I contact them?
I'm curious as to why ANYONE would oppose the new baseball/softball fields project? A town that is obviously proud of their Little League heritage w/ signs noting the '99 & '01 teams as you enter the town is slowly pushing Little League youth baseball out. One of, if not the largest Little Leagues in the state struggles to find fields for its' teams. The current 12U team is ranked top-5 in the state amongst all 12U teams, including travel teams, and there are days where that team has to practice on the black top behind Delaware Trail. "But this town needs nicer restaurants, not baseball"... You know what restaurants look for??? Patrons... And what would be a way to bring large groups of people to a town??? Youth sports!!! Look at what's going on in Westfield, Noblesville, etc. Families from Terre Haute, Evansville, and a lot of Illinois towns pass through Brownsburg to get to those towns for sports. Those restaurants popping up didn't choose those towns for any random reason. I can also say, when the current teams have to play in those towns, because Brownsburg doesn't have the facilities to host events like that, guess what towns get Brownsburg teams money, Westfield, Noblesville, etc. "But it would increase traffic"... Guess what, something will go in on that land, if not youth sports, an apartment complex, maybe a warehouse, and you know what, there will be traffic, 365 days a year. Baseball/ softball doesn't play late fall/ winter, and with no games, no traffic. Apartments, warehouse, neighborhoods, traffic all day every day. "But my kid doesn't play baseball/ softball"... There are roughly 600 kids each year that do in this town. I don't play Pickle Ball, but that's not stopping that project is it? And as good as some of these Brownsburg teams are, they could be even better. A lot of the really talented kids don't want to play here because of the facilities. Their families would rather load up and drive to Westfield or Greenwood daily for practices and games than continue in their own town. And all of these new neighborhoods that pop up daily, guess what they have??? Kids... Another year or two and there won't be anything for Brownsburg kids to do...
Looking for someone to mow our grass until we get our rider, it is 0.6 acres :)
If there are any businesses out there with a board please wish Meagan Kennedy congrats on becoming the first Individual Brownsburg State Champion in bowling beating out over 600 other girls throughout the state...she would greatly appreciate it and so would I.
If we are going to better our town we need to add things that keep people in our town. Why should brownsburg residence have to travel to Avon to eat fine dining and shop? Not even just to Avon but out of Hendricks county period? If we had commodities like others we would attract more people and people would have places to go without all the traveling. Mainly restaurants and fast food places especially toward the end of brownsburg where Marsh used to be which needs to be brought back. Invest in our own town instead of having the people out their money in others. Plainfield splash island, that could be us.

Brownsburg is one of the fastest-growing communities in the state with more than 30,000 residents.

Thanks to a grant from the Parks Foundation of Hendricks County, three nonverbal communication boards were recently installed at park playgrounds in Brownsburg to create inclusive play spaces.

The boards, located at Arbuckle Acres Park, Stephens Park, and Williams Park, will help facilitate play narration and language learning in the park by allowing children to express thoughts and feelings by pointing to pictures on display. Each communication board features common words, numbers, and symbols.

The communication boards were funded by a grant from The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County in partnership with the Hendricks County Community Foundation.

This month we are highlighting the Clear Choices Clean Water Pet Waste Pledge.

For many of us, it’s common knowledge and courtesy to pick up after your pet in parks and other public spaces. But you should also pick up your pet’s poo at home! It can ruin your lawn, enter waterways near your house, and create potential health risks for you and your family.

Take the pledge to pick up after your pet at https://indiana.clearchoicescleanwater.org/pledges/pet-poo/

On Wednesday, we hosted our second Leadership Brownsburg Academy session of the year.

During this Brownsburg Government 101 session, participants learned about elected official duties, including the Town Council, Clerk-Treasurer, and Town Judge. The group also learned about the Town budget and budgeting process from our Budget Analyst.

After the presentation, participants worked together on an advocacy project by identifying a community concern, proposing a solution, and the potential steps to complete their goals.

The Town of Brownsburg has been named a 2022 Tree City USA for its eighth consecutive year, which honors the Town's commitment to effective urban forestry management.

The Brownsburg Parks Department developed many programs to encourage tree planting and removing invasive species. In 2022, the department planted 96 trees, sold 110 trees during the annual Fall Tree Sale, and invested $6.86 per capita in arbor management. In addition, the department and volunteers cleared multiple acres of invasive species across Brownsburg's parks and trails.

Trees are vital to our community. Learn more about how you can support urban forestry through our upcoming Clean and Green Earth Day volunteer clean-up event: https://www.brownsburg.org/487/Clean-and-Green-Earth-Day

Don Schumacher Motorsports Precision Manufacturing (DSM), the manufacturing division of top racing team Don Schumacher Racing, has announced plans to expand its Brownsburg, Indiana, operational facility and overall campus.

In its current building, located at 1681 E. Northfield Dr., DSM will invest over $7 million to add new manufacturing equipment and create up to 12 new jobs by the end of 2025.

In addition, DSM will invest over $3.5 million to build a new 32,500 sq. ft. facility at the same location. This new building will expand production capacity and create 30 new jobs.

“We first moved our headquarters to Brownsburg in 2004 and have experienced steady growth since then,” said DSM President Chad Osier. “We’re now excited for this next phase as we continue to expand our motorsports, aerospace and defense manufacturing infrastructure. Brownsburg has proven to be a great location for us, with access to top talent and proximity to our customers. The Town of Brownsburg has always been incredibly supportive of our endeavors, and we’ve enjoyed getting to know the community through various events, such as our annual Open House benefitting Riley Kids each Labor Day weekend.”

DSM expects to break ground on its new facility in May and to be fully operational by October.

“The investment Don Schumacher Motorsports is making demonstrates that Brownsburg is a unique environment where auto racing and manufacturing can coexist,” said Brownsburg Town Council President Travis Tschaenn. “This expansion aligns perfectly with our vision for Brownsburg as a premier destination for the motorsports industry.”
