🚨Breaking News: Pet Microchip Company Closes Unexpectedly!

Texas-based pet microchip provider Save This Life has shut down abruptly, raising concerns among pet owners and veterinary professionals. As a result, AAHA has removed the company from the Microchip Registry Lookup tool, meaning pets registered with Save This Life may no longer have owner information attached to their chip number.

🐾 What should pet owners do?

✔️ Have your pet’s microchip scanned at your veterinary clinic.
✔️ Use AAHA’s Microchip Lookup Tool to check the registration status.
✔️ If your pet’s chip was registered with Save This Life, re-register with a new provider ASAP.
If you need to look up what company your pets microchip is registered with, you can look it up on the AAHA microchip registry look up site

If you know your pet's microchip number, search it in one of the many microchip databases to see if it's there. If it's not, register it for free. If you don't know the number, any vet will scan it for free.

Hello hello! It has been a while since Mako came to our care but have good news. Mako is now a good boy! Who loves people, kids, and other dogs ❤️ he is also kennel trained.
