Posted @withregram • Thread and Maple] We’re once again going PINK with Karina | Louie & Lola Yarns]] and @just_tracie with a special fundraiser/giveaway to promote breast cancer awareness this October! 🎗
Together, we've created this beautiful limited edition Pink Ribbon Bundle, going on sale Saturday Oct 30th at 12PM EDT 🎀
Tracie has designed this stunning new cowl called “Autumn Stripes” specially for the occasion 😍
Karina has dyed up a delicate rosy palette for Tracie's design in Guava, Champaigne and Goldfinch Merino Fingering.
To complete the kit, we've created a limited edition Rose Leather Pochette, embossed with the breast cancer ribbon emblem.
We will be donating $20 from each sale to @bcrfcure and giving one away as a grand prize to a lucky winner, drawn from all donors who contribute to our breast cancer research fundraiser! Karina will draw another winner from the L&L donors list ☺️
We also have some amazing daily raffle prizes lined up, thanks to generous contributions from our friends in the fiber arts community 💕
The fundraiser/giveaway kicks off this Saturday, October 23rd with winners being drawn daily up until the 30th, when the grand prize winners will be announced and bundles will be available for purchase on both ours and Karina | Louie & Lola Yarns]] websites.

In love with this necklace that tells everyone I love to knit!
I got this amazing pendant from @jwjewelrystudio at the @kingsfiberfest last weekend and it’s my new favorite.
Originally the pendant was on a chain, but I decided to mount it on some leather and turn it into a convertible choker AND bracelet. Swipe to see it as a bracelet and to see the original design.
It’s always amazing to meet other makers who share my passion for fiber. I got so many more wonderful things from local artists and I can’t wait to share those as well!!
You were great I hope you come again ...

I spun my first roving on a spinning wheel at the King’s County Fiber Festival using the fleece from Cece’s black & white sheep. Then I had help turning my short yarn into 2-ply ☺️

Wonderful day at King’s County Fiber Festival in Washington Park. Just browsing the stalls and having hands on demonstrations. @blackmedknits got to spin on a spinning wheel, card natural raw cotton and purchase a big bag full of fleece/roving. Watched yarn being chain plied on a Turkish spindle. I also discovered the softest suri alpaca yarn by @shirstycat

I think I showed remarkable restraint at the @kingsfiberfest. It was a gray cool day, but the event was truly warm hearted. What a lovely community are the fiber people! So nice to see old friends and make some new ones. The yarn and stitchery was off the hook. Can’t wait to get this gorgeous yarn on the needles. Little by little, NYC is coming back. Let the crafters help lead the way!
