Oliver has officially found his forever home! 🧡🤍🐾

Oliver may only be a kitten, but he’s never let that stop him from acting like he owns the place.

From the moment we met him, this tiny orange adventurer approached life with endless confidence, boundless curiosity, and absolutely no concern for things like “personal space” or “consequences.”

Now he’s heading off to a wonderful home with two parents who already adore him and an older feline sibling waiting to meet him.

We have a feeling Oliver is going to settle in quickly. In fact, we’re pretty sure he’s already drawing up plans for which shelves he’ll conquer first and how he’ll convince his new brother to join his adventures.

We’re so excited for this sweet, fearless little guy and his new family.

Happy adoption day, Oliver! 🧡🤍🐾

Sweater has officially found his forever home! ❤️🐾

Raised in a foster home surrounded by other cats, dogs, and plenty of love, Sweater grew into exactly the kind of kitten everyone hopes for: friendly, confident, playful, and always ready to make a new friend.

Whether he was chasing toys, wrestling with his foster siblings, or charming everyone he met, Sweater never had any trouble making an impression.

Now he’s heading off to start his next chapter with a wonderful new mom who fell in love with this sweet boy and all of his kitten charm.

We know he’ll settle right in and quickly take over every cozy spot, toy basket, and available lap in the house.

**UPDATE: ADOPTED💕**

Hi, I’m Leon 🖤🤍

I’m a 3-month-old black-and-white kitten with a very important feature:

A tiny black dot right on my nose.

I’m told it’s adorable. Personally, I think it adds character.

Before arriving at the shelter, I apparently wandered into a fire station like I owned the place. One day I was a stray kitten, and the next thing you know, I was hanging out with firefighters.

In fact, one of the firefighters fell completely in love with me. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to keep me, and we’re told there may have been a few tears when it came time to hand me over to the shelter staff.

Don’t worry though—I took the whole thing in stride.

I’m a confident, happy little guy who adjusted to shelter life almost immediately. New people? Great. New places? No problem. New adventures? Sign me up.

I’m playful, social, and always ready to make new friends. Whether I’m chasing toys, exploring my surroundings, or showing off my adorable nose spot, I know how to keep life entertaining.

Leon has already won over a fire station. Now he’s looking for a forever family to win over next!✨🐾

🐹🦜🦎 SUMMER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY 🦎🦜🐹

Are you between the ages of 13 and 17 and looking for a meaningful way to spend your summer? We are now accepting applications for our Small Animal, Bird, and Reptile Volunteer Program!

Our volunteers help care for some of the shelter’s smallest residents, including birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, reptiles, and more. Responsibilities include cleaning enclosures, feeding animals, monitoring for any signs of illness or changes in behavior, reporting concerns to supervisors, and helping with general shelter tasks such as washing cat food dishes.

This opportunity is especially great for younger animal lovers, as many of our other volunteer positions are geared toward older teens and adults.

We are looking for committed volunteers who can participate throughout the entire summer. Most volunteers will be scheduled for one or two days each week, and we ask that they attend consistently according to their assigned schedule. We understand that emergencies and conflicts happen, but volunteers are expected to communicate with their supervisor if they cannot attend a scheduled shift.

One of our favorite parts of this program is pairing volunteers together! While individuals are absolutely welcome to apply, we highly encourage friends to apply as a team of two. Volunteers who apply alone may be paired with another applicant.

If you are interested, please send an email to [email protected] addressed to our Volunteer Coordinator, Cory. Tell us a little about yourself and include a paragraph explaining why you are interested in the program and why you think you would be a great volunteer.

We expect a tremendous amount of interest in this opportunity and unfortunately will not be able to accommodate every applicant. We sincerely appreciate everyone who applies and will do our very best to respond to all applications.

We can’t wait to hear from you! ❤️

Astro would like everyone to know that he has worked VERY hard to become this adorable.

You see this sweet little face?

This was once a kitten who thought people were highly suspicious creatures best admired from a safe distance.

Now look at him.

He’s out here making eye contact. Posing for pictures. Accepting affection. Being cute on purpose.

Honestly, the character development has been incredible.

Astro has spent months learning that people can be kind, that cozy beds are amazing, and that life is a lot more fun when you don’t have to be scared all the time.

These days, one of his favorite things is being held and cuddled. He absolutely adores being carried around, loves attention, and wants to be close to his people. In fact, he’s become so trusting that he’s even good for baths—something that would have seemed impossible when he first arrived.

Astro is FIV positive, has a grade 2 heart murmur, and does have some gingivitis that may require continued dental care and monitoring. While his future family should be prepared for those things, none of them stop him from being the sweet, loving kitten he is today. Many FIV-positive cats live long, happy lives, and Astro is ready to spend his doing all the important cat things: playing, napping, cuddling, and being adored.

He’s already done the hard part—learning to trust.

Now he’s just waiting for someone to give him the fresh start he’s worked so hard for. ❤️🐾

Hi, I’m Prince 🤍

I’m a 2-month-old kitten with a striking white coat and a look that turns heads wherever I go. Cats with coloring like mine aren’t something you see every day, and frankly, I know I’m pretty handsome.

Before coming to the shelter, I spent my entire life living outside like a proper little street cat. And if I may brag for a moment, I was doing quite well. I was plump, healthy, and living my best backyard life.

Then one day, a lady showed up with a trap.

Now, some cats might have been suspicious.

Not me.

I smelled the delicious food inside, marched right in without a second thought, and promptly changed the course of my entire life.

The trap door slammed shut behind me, and suddenly I found myself on the fast track to indoor living.

To be honest, I’m still not completely convinced about this whole “people” thing.

I have a very impressive hiss that I like to show off whenever I feel uncertain, and I’m pretty sure I should have thought a little harder before accepting that free meal.

Still, it’s a bit late for regrets now.

The good news is that the vet gave me a clean bill of health. Other than some flea dirt that has already been taken care of, I’m healthy and ready to find a home.

What I need is a patient person who can see past my dramatic hisses and understand that underneath all that bravado is just a kitten who has never had the chance to learn that humans can be friends.

Prince may not be ready to hand out cuddles on day one, but with time, patience, and understanding, he just might discover that indoor life is actually pretty awesome🐾✨

Wiggles has officially wiggled her way into a forever home! ❤️🐾

When Wiggles first arrived, she was just a tiny baby who had been abandoned outside in a tote bag alongside her sister. She weighed barely more than half a pound and needed around-the-clock care to help her grow.

Thankfully, she landed in an amazing foster home where she was bottle-fed, loved, and given every opportunity to thrive.

And thrive she did.

Wiggles grew into exactly what her name promised: a playful, confident, happy little kitten who never seemed to run out of energy, curiosity, or charm. She never met a toy she didn’t want to chase or a person she didn’t want to befriend.

Now she’s heading off to start her next chapter with a wonderful new mom who fell in love with this tiny bundle of personality.

From a tote bag to a forever home, this sweet girl’s future is looking brighter than ever.

Happy adoption day, Wiggles! ❤️🐾

Major Tom and Aladin have officially been adopted together! ❤️🐾🐾

When these boys first arrived at the shelter, they were only a few days old and needed around-the-clock care to survive. Thanks to an incredible foster mom, they grew from tiny, fragile babies into the playful, healthy kittens they are today.

Now, they’re heading off to start their next adventure together.

There’s something especially sweet about seeing littermates find a home side-by-side. Through every stage of life so far, these boys have had each other, and now they’ll get to continue their journey in a forever home filled with love.

With Pumpkin Jack, Ziggy Stardust, and The Duke already off to wonderful homes of their own, it’s safe to say this little David Bowie crew has officially completed its mission. 🎵❤️

We couldn’t be happier for Major Tom and Aladin as they head home together.

Happy adoption day, boys. ❤️🐾
