Two things we love to talk about are 1) our work at Enoch Pratt and 2) the beneficial impact historic preservation can have on communities. This video on the Teen Room is an excellent example of both.
As library week comes to a close, we take a moment to reflect on how libraries continually adapt to serve their communities. We are deeply honored to help them preserve historic art, architecture, and share the knowledge of the past throughout the process.

From 1926 to 1976 the Julia Ideson Library was Houston's main library; by 2011 when we came in to restore this much loved and used spaced, it had lost a lot of its original decoration to overpainting.
The building now serves as a grand public reception hall, an exhibition gallery, and is still a wonderful place to enjoy a vintage book!

Today marks the Feast of the Annunciation, celebrated by Catholics as the day Gabriel appeared to Mary and announced that she had been chosen to be the Mother of Jesus.
It’s a moment our artists are often called upon to recreate in churches, and this beautiful bas relief for Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville is one of our most memorable versions.

How we felt in winter vs. how we’re feeling now that it’s spring! We’re ready to spend time outside in beautiful outdoor spaces like the gardens at Biltmore, the home to this sculpture.
EverGreene’s conservators brought new life to the historic statuary of the Biltmore Estate with conservation cleaning, repair, and replacement of missing elements. Our expertise is informed by a technical and artistic understanding of how replacement pieces have to be recreated and reattached.
