From 1926 to 1976 the Julia Ideson Library was Houston's main library; by 2011 when we came in to restore this much loved and used spaced, it had lost a lot of its original decoration to overpainting.

The building now serves as a grand public reception hall, an exhibition gallery, and is still a wonderful place to enjoy a vintage book!

Get A First Look At $15 Million Restoration Of The Chicago Cultural Center Hall Honoring Civil War Veterans The 62,000-piece glass dome in the Grand Army of the Republic rotunda has been revitalized, while technicians recreated chandeliers and touched up floors, walls and windows in the hall. Free events are available through the weekend.

How we felt in winter vs. how we’re feeling now that it’s spring! We’re ready to spend time outside in beautiful outdoor spaces like the gardens at Biltmore, the home to this sculpture.

EverGreene’s conservators brought new life to the historic statuary of the Biltmore Estate with conservation cleaning, repair, and replacement of missing elements. Our expertise is informed by a technical and artistic understanding of how replacement pieces have to be recreated and reattached.

We’re happy to report that the project was recently selected by the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia to receive a Grand Jury Award.
