Circle T Cattle Co. will be back at the market this season! What was your favorite purchase from them? ๐ฅฉ๐ฅฉ๐ฅฉ
And do you think they should get into the cow petting business? ๐ฎโ
All about fresh spring scents right now.โ๏ธ
Update for you all- a lot of you already saw but over the weekend my fancy laser label printer quit working on me. And this printer was a HUGE purchase for my business. I got it one year ago in February. I was exactly 1 week too late on the warranty and they looked at it and said there was nothing I could do to fix it.๐ฅบ I was so devastated. When youโre a small business, every single purchase is planned out, thought up, and saved for. Iโm not a big corporation who can just throw money around.๐ฐ
I explained this in my Instagram story on Monday and included a coupon code โSUPPORTโ for checkout giving you 10% off to help me purchase a brand new one.
YOU ALL CAME THROUGH. I canโt believe how many orders I have received the past few days on my website. I canโt believe I have people behind this business who care about our success and love our products. Iโm overwhelmed with gratitude. We even received a donation.๐ญ
I purchased the new laser label printer yesterday so I can continue to move forward with all my wholesale orders I have to get out the door this week!๐ฅณ๐๐ผ And I couldnโt have done this without each and every one of you. (And yes, you better believe I purchased the 3 year warranty this timeโฆ๐)
Thank you. From the bottom of my heart!๐ค
Update on new products-
โขFor the essential oils and lip balm, Iโve got them all made and ready to go, I am only waiting on the labels so that I can label them all!
โขIโve got TWO new scents coming out and they are to DIE FOR. โPink Sunriseโ and we are still deciding on the name for the other scent but it is SO COZY.
โขLiquid Hand Soap- it is official! The recipe is decided on (finally!) I went with a foaming hand soap. It is so gentle on the skin. It is plant based. And all natural. I hope to have this available within the next 2 months. I have to get a TON of it made now as well as get the labels designed and finalized on these. Iโm so excited! ๐ฅณ The bottles are perfectly round and cute.
We are getting to work over here for you all!๐๐ผ Only a couple more weeks until the Tulsa & BA Farmerโs Markets opening weekends on April 2nd!! ( @tulsafarmersmarket and @rdfmba )
Thereโs just something about supporting local... Even on vacay youโll find me at the local seafood market, farmers stand, etc.
This picture is from our Crystal Beach trip in December. Thereโs a seafood market in Galveston that has such a large selection of fresh fish! I shop there every time we travel down to the Gulf of Mexico. The crab legs, shrimp, and fish are all so amazing.
Our favorite tradition is getting the whole tilapia or red snapper fish and preparing it together as a family. The girls get a kick out of it plus the flavor is just ๐
Luckily, there are many places in the area that serve fresh, local food. Here are some of my faves:
The Rose District Farmers Market starts the first weekend of April and runs through October. All businesses selling there are certified local and produced / grown in Oklahoma! My weekly stop includes Circle T Cattle Co., Sixth Day Snacks, Scissortail Steading, Abundant Microgreens, and so many others.
๐ฅฉHarvard Meats has a huuuuuge variety of meats including sausage, beef, chicken, and even crazy stuff like rabbit. Swan Brothers Dairy Inc also delivers there and we pickup the cream top milk every week. Nothing beats it!
Bon Broth Bar If you are health-focused, you have got to get over to the new Bon!! They brew bone broth locally and serve it fresh along with toasted sour dough and fresh sandwiches. Check out their market area where they have local healthy foods.
Salt & Soul in Coweta has countless of food vendors all made in Oklahoma. Coffee, casseroles, oils / vinegars, salsas and seasonings, meats, and so much more. Iโve tried so much and have been happy with everything!
THE BEST PART?
You can get our scratch made baked goods at all of these locations, plus a few other local retailers:
Nouveau Chocolates
Vintage Phoenix Marketplace
Let me know what you think!! Where is your favorite place to get local food?? Tell me in the comments!

We are happy to announce TWO new partnerships this year!
The Next Step Kitchen is a Broken Arrow commercial co-working kitchen where foodpreneuers take their next step! With this partnership, we will be hosting a Next Step Kitchen booth to allow these foodpreneuers to test their products on the market! There will be several rotating foodies throughout the season so be sure to stop by frequently to test out the newest ideas!
Additionally, it is only right to give back to Broken Arrow so we are partnering with @Broken Arrow Neighbors to allow the farmers and citizens to donate fresh local produce to those in need! More details to come!

UH-OH!! We created some confusion! Let us take this opportunity to clarify a few questions/comments from the survey!
Farmers Market Q & A
"Moving the Market?"
We are NOT looking at rehoming the Rose District Farmers Market. We are just collecting responses to see how Broken Arrow feels about expansion to other locations.
"Can Vendors Supplement Products from Stores?"
There is some misunderstanding in our rules and regulations. Our vendors are not allowed to supplement with products from the stores. Supplementation is limited to other Oklahoma-grown farms. Since many farmers cannot afford to be at every market across the state, this allows them to have their products at other markets without having to be in attendance. Example: Porter Peaches, Blueberries and Blackberries... The only things vendors can purchase from stores are seeds, starters, and other materials to help produce their crops.
"Kenosha Stand Offers More Variety of Produce. Why can't we?"
The Rose District Farmers Market is a registered OK Grown/Made In OK Market with the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry. We cannot sell out-of-state produce and everything we do sell is verified through Farm Visits. The Kenosha produce stand may offer more produce because it is not a registered market and sells out-of-state products that are not local. Other states such as Texas, Florida, Arkansas, and the other states in which they receive their product have different growing seasons and environments than Oklahoma that can allow for citrus fruits to grow. We would of course love to offer more produce for our customers but unfortunately, we cannot control the growing season, weather, or those wildlife critters known to find their way to the gardens/farms.
See page two: OK Grown Designation -https://ag.ok.gov/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Farmers-Market-and-Hub-Registration-Application.pdf
"Can We Have More Homemade Items? Why Are There So Many Craft Vendors?"
With our market being registered as an OK Grown/Made In OK Market, non-food items cannot exceed 25% of total sales at the market. This also means no MLM vendors, as the product must be made in Oklahoma. Sometimes it can seem as there are more craft vendors than produce vendors but many of our vendors are seasonal and therefore come and go while crafts can stick around all season. However, we only allow 25% of the total vendors accepted to come from the craft while the rest are produce, prepared food, and homemade food items.

"Why Does Our Market Not Have Organic Options?"
Many of our vendors follow organic practices but choose not to receive the "Organic" seal due to financial strain and the lengthy process to be able to state that their products are indeed Organic. Therefore, it is best to ask the farmer what practices they follow. Additionally, a vendor may say they follow the "natural" growing process as this will not get them in trouble for saying they are organic without the proper seal.
