House Bill 2272 was approved by the Appropriations committee on April 7th. It will limit the number of Cannabis dispensaries allowed to operate in the state of Oklahoma.
The bill will permit “out-of-state” patients to get MMJ licenses in Oklahoma when their application is signed by an Oklahoma physician. The fee will be $200 and be valid for two years.

Oklahoma personal and business income tax deadline is JUNE 15, 2021. The IRS posted the update on February 25, 2021 after the severe winter storm. The deadline applies to all 77 counties in Oklahoma. The deadline applies to 1st Qtr estimated tax payments, excise tax and quarterly payroll tax. Tax filings include: individual, corporate, estate and trust income, partnership, S Corp, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax return, and annual information returns of tax exempt organizations.

OMMA will require that beginning inventory be completely reported into METRC by April 30, 2021.
The last monthly OMMA report that will need to be submitted to OMMA will be the March report, filed in April. After that time, full operation and tracking within METRC will satisfy a licensees monthly reporting requirements.
On April 30, the beginning inventory entry period will close, and licensees will report all transactions of inventory directly into METRC going forward.

The METRC system will have two (2) types of tags. ALL businesses will be required to purchase tags depending on which type of business you are. Keep following to find out more about which tags you will need.
