Walnut (finished w teak oil) and iron is a pretty good combo.

I was asked to do a memorial bench in honor of the founder of some of my favorite restaurants. Howard Leuer passed in Father’s Day this year. He helped to start and good morning mamas. I remember seeing him in my neighborhood several times. Always a friendly smiling guy. Wishing his family the best.

To say this door table is a lot of work is and understatement. I highly recommend nobody else tries to do what I’m doing. That being said. I’m through the worst of the work (paint removal) and I’m on to the fun stuff. Building. Custom glass comes in today and things are gonna finally start coming together and looking like a piece of furniture. .
