What an amazing night. A lot of work went into reviving the 200 year old space to celebrate two of our favorite people. We cannot thank all of the volunteers enough for pulling this off - and adding another wedding to the property's history. It was truly one of the best weddings. Congratulations Tara and Scott!
Many thanks to ABWoolley Photography for capturing such great photos of the night.
It's official. Reverend Sanger is back in the saddle. We hosted the first event in almost 60 years in the space for our close friends and family. It was truly an amazing night and a lot of great memories.
Many thanks to the Thorson family for pitching in. We love the texture and colors on this chair. Artist: Stacy Berio Thorson

After many rain delays the new roof is finally completed.
The first "Paint a Chair" was returned today. The chair looks amazing. Now, we just have to figure out who the artist was for proper credits. :)

Sunshine! Buzz Around Bridgewater 5/19/2013 They have a dream. Inspired by their house & barn, newly married Amy and Shawn Saunders did a little historical research and found several personalities and more than a few good stories. These stories are motivating them to pursue a few of their own.
Thanks to everyone that dropped by this weekend to tour the theatre, pick up chairs, and to help clean out the balcony section. We truly appreciate all of your support.
A picture of a local duo called Stone Kitty rehearsing at Reverend Sanger's Public House tonight. The vocals and music were amazing. We also hosted rehearsals for Speechcraft this week - a local indie rock band.
Many thanks to those helping out with the "Paint a Chair" project. We will post pictures as they come along.
We woke up the theatre from a 63 year slumber tonight. Two local musicians started rehearsing in the theatre. It was great to see a part of Bridgewater's history come back to life.
Our paint a chair project is still ongoing. We are seeking out artists to pick up a chair and paint in primary colors or a folk art theme - drop us a message if interested.
We are also seeking some local musicians to play for a social gathering sometime in May or June. We plan to invite up to 30-40 locals on this page to our first social event (first come, first serve) - and we would love to have 2-4 musicians/bands rotate through the evening. We will probably go for an acoustic set to complement a social meet and greet setting. Email us if interested in playing for this event.
The "Paint a Chair Project" is starting this week for anyone interested in helping out. We are going for primary colors and/or a folk art theme. Email us at [email protected] to setup a time to drop by - or we would be happy to drop off a chair to you.
Next step = find some table bases.
The chairs and table tops are in! We plan to make each chair unique with some creative painting. If there are any artists or painters interested in working on one - send us a message.
Call for volunteers! We were able to locate a restaurant offering table tops/chairs. If anyone has a truck and some free time tomorrow night (Tue) - please reach out to us. We could use some help moving them from Middleboro to Bridgewater.
