TODAY, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced an extension to the re-registration period for TPS beneficiaries from El Salvador, Honduras, Haiti, Nicaragua, Nepal, and Sudan.

TPS beneficiaries will now have an 18-month registration period to renew their status. These are the new re-registration deadlines.

Supuestamente, como indican a este anuncio de Inmigración Por El Salvador, vas a hacer la reinscripción desde julio 12, 2023 Hasta septiembre 10, 2023. Hay que esperar el anuncio oficial en el registro federal para que lo indiquen como hay que renovar. 😀

DHS está extendiendo la designación de El Salvador para TPS por 18 meses, hasta el 9 de marzo de 2025. La nueva extensión permite que aproximadamente 239,000 beneficiarios actuales de TPS se vuelvan a registrar para retener el TPS hasta el 9 de marzo de 2025, si continúan cumpliendo con los requisitos de elegibilidad para el TPS. Los beneficiarios de TPS existentes que deseen extender su estatus hasta el 9 de marzo de 2025 deben volver a registrarse durante el período de reinscripción de 60 días desde el 12 de julio de 2023 hasta el 1 de septiembre. 10, 2023.

El Gobierno de Estados Unidos ha anunciado una nueva prórroga del TPS para personas beneficiarias de El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Haiti, Sudán y Nepal. Con esta prórroga, la validez del Estatus de Protección Temporal (TPS, por sus siglas en inglés) para los beneficiarios se ha extendido de forma automática hasta el 30 de junio de 2024.
