Members of the truck keeping busy this week with the 3rd working fire of the week, members responded to 6 Mindres Avenue and found fire on the first floor of a vacant private dwelling, working hand in hand with members of fire was extinguished without further incident.

Strong work done today by some young guys in the truck, as members removed 1 occupant from a fire in a vacant commercial building this morning. Good work boys!!

First due truck jobs

On Friday August 23rd At 01:10 hours after 30 plus calls already for the night Members of the truck responded as the first due truck to this working fire on Myrtle Ave in East Brentwood. East Brentwood Fire Department

Last night at 19:15 hours members of the truck responded to a reported structure fire on N. Gardiner drive. Ladder 3-2-8 was out 2 mins after activation and was notified that multiple calls were coming in. Once on scene members found fire showing from a 2 story frame, with reports of possible occupants searches of both the first and second floors proved otherwise. Working well with the first due engine ( Sagtikos Engine 4 ) crews were able to bring the fire down within a few mins. Photo and video credits belong to Ken Bradbury

Members from the Brentwood Truck Company responded to a total of 7 fires in the past month 5 of them which were in Brentwood, 1 in Central Islip as an extra truck and 1 in Deer Park as an extra truck.
