I just wanted to mention on here for anyone considering having any machine work done that Joe does amazing work. He threaded and installed a brake on my .300 RUM . Not only did the felt recoil diminish to that of a .243 WIn but my accuracy went from ~1.5 MOA to

Joe, just wanted to update you on the success of my Re*****on 5r .308. I've attached some photos of groups the rifle shot before and after I brought it to you.

The rifle is a newer production Re*****on 700 5r SS Milspec in .308win. When I purchased the rifle I could not get anything better than about 2" three shot groups. I tried everything. Various Ammo, action torque, changed optics setup, clean shoot, dirty shoot. It didnt matter, 2" was the best the rifle would do, most often closer to 3".

I had all but decided to sell and pass the rifle off to the next sucker, but Charles at Bear Beam Fi****ms in Tulsa recommended I let Joe at JMS Tactical look it over.

I decided to give it a shot, and wow I was not disappointed in the quality of work when I received my rifle back! Joe diagnosed the muzzle end of the barrel to have been overbored, and the crownwork was trash from the factory. Joe recommended we cut and thread the barrel and give it a nice crown. He also squared up the bolt lugs, receiver, and recoil lug. Along with cleaning up Re*****on's poor action screw thread work.

When I took it back to the range the next morning I was blown away by how well it shoots now. The only ammo I had with me was some factory seconds of Lake City M118LR. Oh well, let's give it a try anyway. First zeroing group was 4 in the same hole and a flyer opened it up to .563". Ok I'm on paper and optimistic, let's adjust and see how she does. Two rounds in the same hole, the third cutting the edge for a .309" group. Then I moved the target to 200 yards and fired another three round, resulting in a .729" grouping. The average of the three groups is .412" I'll take that with low quality ammo.

For as little work that Joe put into my rifle I am THOROUGHLY impressed with its performance and Joe's handywork!

Bought an AR 15 like model from the guys there and a Bushnell AR 223 scope. Dialed it it and the 100 yard 3 inch grouping couldn't be better. I'm so happy to do business with the guys at JMS Tactical. You can't go wrong with them.

Amazing 100% correct 1943 WWII M1 Garand.

We are getting more and more awesome WWII fi****ms into our inventory. This one checks from top to bottom. Un-Cut op-rod, 12-42 Barrel (in the white) on a 1-43 receiver makes this one original barrel/receiver. Lock Bar Rear Sight (correct). Correct trigger and housing. This is an amazing specimen. Have a couple of WWII era Garands! One in 30-06, the other in 308.
Both rifles have ME below 1. The 30-06 was made in 1943 and re-barreled in 1948, but the barrel shows almost ZERO use. The .308 is a 6 digit serial number receiver manufactured in 1939, it has a brand new Criterion 308 match grade barrel. Both of these rifles are tack drivers! I will be posting pictures of a 1943 Wi******er M1 Carbine either tonight or tomorrow morning. PM me!
