Hi, I’m Lorena, the owner of Belle Farms! 🤍

People often ask how I ended up owning a photography venue, and honestly, it wasn’t something I ever planned.

My love for photography started when I became a mom. I began taking milestone pictures of my son and quickly realized how fast time passes. The more memories I captured, the more I understood the value of having beautiful photos to look back on.

Then came Shakira, my baby cow. What started as sharing her with photographers turned into meeting incredible people, hosting photo sessions, and eventually creating a space where photographers, families, and creatives could come together to make memories.

Today, Belle Farms is more than just a venue. It’s a place where people can slow down, connect with nature, cuddle baby animals, celebrate milestones, and create memories they’ll cherish forever. Being able to provide that experience for others is one of my favorite things.

A few random facts about me:

🐮 A cow named Shakira is largely responsible for where I am today.
🐔 I can spend way too much money on farm animals and somehow always justify it.
📸 I love being in front of the camera just as much as I love being behind the scenes.
🥤 My blood type is probably energy drink at this point.
🌾 I always have at least three projects going at the same time.
😂 I laugh at my own jokes more than anyone else does.
🐄 If I tell myself I’m “just looking” at a new animal, there’s a good chance it ends up coming home with me.

🌾 MODEL CALL – HOMESTEAD CONTENT DAY 🌾

I’m looking for models for a special content day at Belle Farms on August 8th! This content day will focus on authentic homestead life—think gathering fresh eggs, feeding animals, milking the cow, horses, and enjoying the simple beauty of farm life.

I’m looking for:

🤍 1 Female Solo Model
🤍 1 Maternity Model
🤍 1 Couple
🤍 1 Mommy & Me Pair

Models must be comfortable around farm animals, including chickens, cows, and other livestock, as animals will be incorporated into many of the images.

What you’ll receive:
✨ A complimentary mini session
✨ A small gallery of edited images
✨ A unique homestead experience

Requirements:
• Must be available on August 8th
• Comfortable interacting with farm animals
• Must sign a model release allowing images to be used for advertising, social media, and portfolio purposes
• Outfits must fit the homestead/farm aesthetic and be approved beforehand

📣 Important Booking Update – Effective Immediately

To keep everything organized and ensure no appointments are missed, any session that is not booked through an official booking link will not be considered confirmed.

If you did not receive a confirmation email after booking, you are not on my calendar—even if the session is free, even if it’s a promo session. We are strictly by appointment only.

If you have an upcoming session that was scheduled without using a booking link, please send me a message as soon as possible so we can get it resolved.

I apologize for any inconvenience, but this change is necessary to help me stay organized and provide the best experience possible for everyone. Between raising my kids, caring for my family, managing the farm, attending school, and running the business, I need to have all appointments in one place.

Not sure if I mentioned this in the other post but Shakira is my first milk cow I’ve ever had. First milk animal for that matter. And it’s her first calf. So we’re both learning at the same time. But we both love each other and we are both enjoying the learning process 🫶🏻❤️
