Home - NC Homeowner Assistance Fund

Home - NC Homeowner Assistance Fund Established through the American Rescue Plan of 2021, the NC Homeowner Assistance Fund was created for homeowners in North Carolina to help prevent mortgage delinquencies, defaults, displacements and foreclosures due to COVID-19.

Scholarship Opportunity - 2 or 4 year college.
It is an honor for WNC Communities to offer The George H.V. Cecil Journey Scholarship to youth in our communities preparing to enter college. Last year, $13,500 in scholarships was awarded to 11 deserving youth continuing their education.

The Scholarship Application is attached below but has also been emailed to the high school guidance counselors of the schools that are in or closest to your community.

The criteria for the scholarship application is listed on page two. The deadline for the completed applications to be submitted is Monday, March 21, 2022.

The Love Birds have been painted and taken to their homes to roost!
What a Gloriously FUN Evening with this group of ladies! We laughed, told stories, made new connections and friends and ate a few cookies! Thank you all for making this painting social a huge success! I’m looking forward to next months social and figure out ways of putting into action all the super ideas you gave Emily and me for events and activities at the Brasstown Community Center!

We have a few spaces still available if you would like to join us. I am so looking forward to Thursday evening!
