It’s a beautiful evening! If you’ve never made it to downtown Hollister, you need to go!

We are having a family dinner tonight at Downing Street Pour House. This isn’t one of our long restaurant posts. All you need to know is it’s one of the best restaurants in the area. I’ll put a link from our earlier post about Downing Street in the comments.

Such a cool sunset in Branson tonight. I’ve never seen one quite like it!

When I got to work, we found a bat on the ceiling of the Hospitality House! A cave guide safely relocated it to the cave where it belongs.

This past Saturday, we had the pleasure of speaking at Webster Groves Public Library. It was a great time and we loved meeting some of our St. Louis area followers! Our 2 youngest kiddos had never been up in the Gateway Arch, so we definitely had to make time for that while we were there! Great memories we will cherish forever.
We appreciate all the dinner recommendations, and can’t wait to try some of them when we’re back next month. Unfortunately, we had to rush back to cover severe weather in our area. -Shera

Behind the Scenes: Tonight is Silver Dollar City employee family night at White Water—so SDC employees get the whole place to themselves! We are having a great time!

It’s a big day in Marvel Cave history! 70 years ago tonight, the first Ozark Square Dance Jubilee was held inside Marvel Cave. I have an original ticket from that night that hangs on my basement wall with all my other Marvel Cave stuff!

Turns out Shera and I didn’t get to eat anywhere in St. Louis last night. We ended up having to rush back to Branson for severe weather coverage over on Stormdar Weather. Straight from the car to the studio. And we were live until around 1:30am.

We’re in St. Louis! Where do we go for dinner? You probably know the type of places we like!
