Well, my lantern tour got called back due to the incoming storms. We couldn’t use the train and had to climb the stairs instead. So now, I’m treating myself to a vanilla milkshake from Hannah’s!

We’ve had this place on our list for a while! My daughter and I were finally able to check it out! Swan Valley Brew Co. & Flea Market in Forsyth, MO is not your average coffee shop! ☕️ The atmosphere is so cozy, the staff are incredible, the drinks are amazing, and it’s also a flea market! We thoroughly enjoyed our S’more frappes while browsing all the great booths and we didn’t want to leave! Another cool thing they have is a wall of labeled coffee mugs! Locals or frequent customers can bring in their own mug and add it to the wall for use whenever they come in.
Swan Valley Brew Co is definitely Mrs. Cave Guide Corey approved ✅ and is located at 15945 US-160 Forsyth, Mo. If you’re familiar with the area, you’ll know this was once a funeral home. 😉

Our daughter requested tacos for dinner tonight. I was so excited when these finally went back on the shelves after being gone for so long! So, it’s taco Friday for us! What’s for dinner in your house?! 🌮 -Shera

Did you know Branson offers a FREE trolley to get you around downtown?

The trolley made its first run in Oct. 2006. In 2010, a naming contest was held for all local Branson, Hollister, and Kirbyville students to give the trolley a memorable identity. Our oldest boys were in 3rd and 6th grades, and remember the contest! The winning name “Sparky” came from Branson 3rd grader Ben Walworth! The name honors Pearl “Sparky” Spurlock, a local pioneer who operated a popular tour and taxi business in Branson during the 1920s.
We had never rode the trolley, so while our son was in town from Denver, we decided to check it out! 🚋😊
There are 12 trolley stops around Downtown Branson. It’s a great way to see the sights or spend the day shopping, without all the walking. 😊

We had a great lunch at a gem hidden right on the strip! It was our first time at Jalapenos Mexican cuisine and bar, and it won’t be the last. I had the Street Tacos and they were superb! Shera had the Steven Special, which is a bed of rice, topped with grilled chicken and cheese dip, with a side of guacamole, served with tortillas. The flavor of this dish was outstanding! I also really enjoyed the chips and salsa.

We had a great time at Arrowhead tonight and are leaving with a Chiefs win! Fun Fact: Everyone around us knows all about Marvel Cave now!
