Every morning at sunrise, there's a little ritual around here. A simple prayer as we reach out and grab some of the first light. We pour some over our faces, we cast some on one another, the cats and dogs if they're around, and then we put some in our pocket for the rainy days. We give the credit where it's due, and this is a compass for our day.
