Started 6th in the heat race, 5 to qualify and we ended up 3rd. On to the feature we started 14th. Ran caution free for 30 laps and raced up to 8th. I think everyone was hoping for a caution but it just didn’t happen. Thank you to everyone for a great season and congrats to Timmy!

The weekend started off well. Saturday was just a fine tuning day after running a few hot laps and practice. Got the car where we wanted and called it a night.
Sunday started off even better. Timed 4th fasted in our time trial group which lined us up 4th in heat #1. Jumped right up to 3rd and that’s where we finished. Top 2 out of the heats went to the redraw so we were slated to start 13th in the feature. Lots of time between the first heat and the feature allowed the team to make several adjustments for the changing track conditions throughout the day and weather changes. Feature line up came out and the 78 lined up 12th due to a car voluntarily going to the tail. During the first 101 laps the car made its way back to 21st and as high up as 12th, where he finished the first half. During the halfway mark a few more adjustments were made and VQ2 came out with a great car. Raced his way up to 7th when he pitted on lap 132 thinking the right rear tire was loosing air. After 20 laps and realizing the track conditions were against us and the payoff the same up to 15th (so nothing to gain) VQ2 parked the car for last 50 laps to help save the car in hopes of making a run at the championship the last 3 weeks. Although it wasn’t the finish we were hoping for very happy with the car and had a great weekend.
