A few glimpses into the work at North Pole to
Get the angels gifts out. It truly takes the village to take care of this many children each year. We are so grateful to everyone that had a hand into pouring love on the children in this community. We are especially thankful for the Meade County Board of Education and how they lended us the Wave lunch mobile and the box truck to store our angel gifts. Without that we would have quickly run out of room at North Pole 💚

We can’t say Thank you enough to all our sponsors and to all our supporters. This season we have helped over 620 children have happiness and hope under the Christmas tree. There are so many different stories of why our families fell on hard times. But there is one common thread, the citizens of Meade county know how to reach out and offer a helping hand. We could not make this Holiday magic without all your support. This season we have seen folks buy for angels that were once on our list themselves….the love poured into these gift packs do come full circle and it’s beautiful to watch. May God bless you all. 😇

Huge thank you to the Kroger in Brandenburg associates that brought in items for the raffle baskets and to all of those that purchased raffle tickets. $1000 was raised to help the Meade County Angel Ministry. We purchased gift cards that they were in need of and salvation food angels that they will distribute. Thanks to everyone. Today the Meade County Bank presented the Angel Ministry with a $5250 donation from employee collections and matching bank funds! We are so grateful!

Today we had two large donations brought into North Pole. 🎄

Knights Gary Dykhuis, Charlie Wilkins, and Jim Thissen of the Knights of Columbus St. Teresa Council 2282 donate coats to Mrs. Sheila Foster of the Meade County Angel Ministry on behalf of the Parishioners of the St. John, St. Martin, St. Mary, and St. Theresa Catholic Churches.

And, Nucor donated three heaping carloads of amazing toys!

The blessings keep rolling in for our swest angels.

As of the close of business today, we still have
Approximately 25 angel/angel families that we can’t locate or track down. These angels were hanging on trees at local businesses and we have no way to know who picked these angels . If you have one of these angels, and intend to turn in the gifts, please call us at 270-422-1275.
In the coming days, we will be sending shoppers out to purchase for our missing angels.

Today , December 10 was our adopted angel gift return deadline. As of the close of business today, we have many angels , 57 that we believe were adopted that have not “flown” home to us. Please if you have an angel or angel family and have not already reached out about needing an extension, please call our office 270-422-1275 and leave your name ,Angel Number and your phone number. We can only give you a few more days to get your gifts in. By mid-week, we will be sending out shoppers to purchase items for the angels that did NOT get returned. We are now working on a very tight timeline. Please contact us. 😇

Yesterday was a busy day at North Pole with angels flying home all day. We also had visits from Payneville 6th Grade Leadership Group and Cash Express both bringing us tons of donated toys to add the icing on our angels bags. 💚

Angel Parents: We are working very hard to prepare Christmas for all of our angels. We know many of you are getting concerned about your own child’s gifts. We PROMISE EVERY child on our register will have a wonderful Christmas. It is simply too early for us to release a pick up date, we need to ensure every child’s gifts are ready first. Please be patient with us and watch our page for distribution info. We get slowed down answering all the individual questions by phone and messenger. 😇

The Mwade County Angel Ministry is still in need of items to add to our teenage angels. For the girls: makeup sets, nail polish, hair brushes , curling irons & straightners, body wash and lotions
For the guys: Body wash , cologne , shaving sets , fishing poles / tackle, basketballs & footballs. 😇

More kids shopping for kids! 💚💚💚

This past Sunday, some of our youth group headed to Etown to shop for the 😇 Angel Tree Ministry. What better way to prepare during the season of Advent than blessing others with the gift of love on Christmas morning 😊

We absolutely love stories like this! Kids helping other kids it just doesn’t get any better!

This came in from Ms. Clara Scott the College and Career Coach at the Meade County College and Career Center.

I wanted to take the time to show off our students here at the Meade County College and Career Center (ATC). These kids represented their class and career pathways. We raised money and got a family of three angels. We shopped here locally in Brandenburg. I am so proud of our students and just had to show them off.

Huge shout out to our friends at Tony Brown Chevrolet!!! Through their fundraising, Black Friday special and donations they raised over $2900. With those funds they adopted 25 angels and have been sending employees out to shop for those kids! They also are sending one of their employees in a large vehicle to pick up our Toys for Tots for us! This is definitely a huge community effort to take care of over 500 children in our county and we couldn’t make it happen without the effort of so many great folks! 💚

Every year Erica Bevill the owner of Hometown Honey Boutique sets aside the profits from her November Ladies Day Out event to donate to the Meade County Angel Ministry. This year her event grew to fill multiple buildings at the Meade County Fairgrounds! The event surpassed her dreams and she was able to donate over $2600 dollars today. This incredible generosity will help us cover the needs of so many of our sweet angels. We are so grateful for her and all her hard work for our community. 💚 Please shop local with her.

Meade County Angel Adoption Request 2022

Each year there is a miracle that takes place within our community, where folks step up to adopt a child represented by a paper angel on a tree. These angels are your neighbors ....the family down the street battling a health Crisis and being Buried in medical debt, the father who has always worked that recently lost his job due to downsizing, or the single mother that has lost her balance trying to make ends meet. With over 500 angels the stories are endless but the one constant is that these precious angels ,from the very young to the teenagers, deserve to wake up on Christmas morning to HOPE wrapped up with shiny Bows. So many of our Angels know that they are represented by a paper angel on a tree and your act of kindness will not be forgotten. The deadline for Angel Gift return is just four short days away on December 10. We need your help to ensure that each of them have a very Merry Christmas.

Angels are awaiting adoption at Kroger, Cox’s , Hometown Honey Boutique, Meade County Public Library & Big Lots. If none of these locations work for you, we also have an online adoption and your angel will be emailed to you. 🎄😇🎄

Tomorrow , November 30th both our Gift shop and our North Pole will be closed. On Thursday, December 1 & Friday, December 2 our gift shop will also be closed but North Pole will be open from 2-7. We are so sorry for any inconvenience.

On Saturday November 26th, the Meade County Grim Reapers made their 20th annual toy run to the Meade County Angel Ministry. The Ministry lovingly
Calls these guys & gals the Wheels of the Ministry as they get out and do all the running that we can not. Every year they amaze us with their over the top totals and this 20th year was no different, they brought in a grand total of $21,500 in monetary and toy donations. These folks show their giant hearts every year! We are so grateful for all their hard work and dedication to the Angels of Meade County.
