Sad day for Meade County

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Meade County Judge-Executive Gerry Lynn. Judge Lynn’s passing is a terrible loss not only for his family and friends, but also for Meade County. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Nancye, and the rest of the family. He will be greatly missed.

New cancer vaccine trial helped kill cancer cells in Mayo patient

whas11.com Mayo Clinic has finished its first clinical trial, and researchers say the vaccine effectively helped kill cancer cells.

It's that time of the year again. Beginning tomorrow, October 1st, Tony Brown Chevrolet and Chevrolet is hosting the event all month long!

So come to Tony Brown Chevrolet, take a ride in a new vehicle, let us take your picture and post it to social media with and Chevrolet will donate $5 to The American Cancer Society. To top it off, Tony Brown Chevrolet will donate $1,000 to a local charity or cause if we reach 200 test drives for the month of October!

We’re out at the Ekron FireFest today from 11-2! We are hosting the CakeWalk. $1 ticket. Lots of great donated goodies. Also Nerf Wars by D’s Extreme Sports and lots of vendor booths.

We are still in need of 1 very outgoing male actor for the Murder Mystery in March 16. Practice tonight if interested.

The Meade County Cancer Coalition will be hosting an open casting call for our next Murder Mystery in March this Thursday at 6:30 pm at the Meade County Public Library.

From the generosity of our customers we was able to split 50/50 proceeds to the Meade Co Cancer Coalition. They received $50 from us from the sales we did from October- December 2018.

Karing Hands presented the Meade County Cancer Coalition with a whopping $1000 check today from donations and proceeds from an awesome gift basket full of goodies raffled off this past Saturday at their Holiday Extravaganza. Thanks so much Karen And crew and all of Meade County!
