Lena came in for a root maintenance session & we had a blast listening to all of our favorite badass female bands from growing up ✨ Her band is touring in the US right now & you don’t want to miss it! 🤘❤️

Lena came in for maintenance on her beautiful locs 😍 It was the first time she had let someone else crochet them & I am honored to have been able to help! ✨Go check out her badass band while they’re on their US tour!

Transformation of the year✨Dana wanted her locs back after having to cut her hair due to medical issues. We used a gentle crochet technique in order to loc her hair and then extend each loc with human hair to get her back to feeling like herself again! There’s nothing more satisfying than being able to help someone reflect on the outside-how they feel on the inside🤍

Client love*! Chelsea rocking her new partial locs 🫶💙 We decided to do a large partial so that she can still style the top. She might end up locking the rest of her hair (like most of us who start with partials😅) but for now she absolutely rocks the partial peekaboo locs🫧

Root tidy for Rylee!✨ This was the first time I had the opportunity to maintain Rylee’s beautiful 5 year old locs. She had been on my waitlist for almost 2 years and I’m so glad I was able to finally connect with her and help her pull in all of the loose hairs around her locs. I knew exactly what she meant when describing how her roots felt because that discomfort is what made me want to help others with their locs in the first place. Without proper maintenance the roots can grow out and pull from one side or both. This can feel like one hair that you pull out of the loc to relieve the pulling and then it leads to another and another. Before you know it, that loc has a very thin root and a lot of loose hair around it. This is also very uncomfortable because now a thin base is holding the weight of the loc. I went through and pulled each hair into the most comfortable section to thicken up the roots. Next time we’ll check on her root comfort level and if they still feel like they’re pulling then we’ll rework her sectioning🪄.

New partial locs for Emily🤗✨✨ Super stoked to be able to assist her on officially starting her loc journey. We lost a little length during the back combing, but that's no problem because we got it right back by extending them with human hair.✨✨✨
