"I have this inkling that when we land our dream jobs, we’re still going to say that deep friendship and Ghirardelli brownies and belting songs with the windows down are truly the best parts of life."
Check out my most recent blog post :)
The best things in life are already here — Emily Knittel Davis We’re told that the best days are ahead, but what if the best days are always right now? It was a Tuesday. I was sitting across from a friend, at a coffee shop we frequented far too often. Both of us were only weeks away from graduating, the excitement was palpable. The world was our oyster! Whate...

At the very least, all transitions are weird.
Check out my most recent blog post about transitions that includes a bit of my personal experience, as well as a few tips :-)
A Story of Transition — Emily Knittel Davis I filled my Subaru with everything I owned, everything I was glad I owned, that is. Did the whole clap-your-hands thing and drove on off. We took the long way. Stopping in Colorado to hike Mount of The Holy Cross (saw a mountain goat) and Jackson Hole to gawk at the Grand Tetons (& get a spe

"I am wholeheartedly convinced that the God who got his hands in the dirt to breathe life into our bones is looking forward to getting back into the dirt with us."
Wrote a blog post—would love to hear your thoughts :-)

Permission to Wrestle With God — Emily Knittel Davis For context, I was fifteen, it was our high school winter retreat, and I was angry. Very angry. And rightfully so. ✨Announcement✨
I launched a website/blog!!!
Y’all this is a big deal for me because it’s step one of writing a book. Having consistent content online, building an email list, and gathering a portfolio of people who read my work is a big deal in the writing world.
But that’s not all that I’m excited about!!! The website will also be a place where I can create resources/give my ideas a place to land & come to life. And for an ideas girl like me, THAT is very exciting.
If you choose to stalk my website, (and I really hope you do) please consider subscribing to my email list, I’m super excited for it (inspired by Glo) and check out the “Dream with me” tab :-)
This project has changed over the 1.5 years I’ve been dreaming it, but thanks to all those who helped me along the ride: Brooke, Ruby, Ariel, Sam, Haley, and Alex for his tedious grammar critiques 😘
Love ya, cheers!
