"Mermaid Hair" No. 1

I’m numbering this one because I would really love to make this one again. I love how she turned out.

Mistakes happen. Particularly when pressed flowers come into play. When preserved properly, the colors can last for years. But the slightest bit of moisture, or over exposure to sun can change the results.

Unfortunately, I had each thing happen with these two pieces. On the other hand, I have some discounted work in my Etsy shop 😅

I think I’ll be keeping this little fishy for a while. This piece was a real labor of love with some really hard cuts and multiple pattern redraws whilst in progress. The bubbles aren’t very round but the glass is almost twice as thick and was a beast to break.

Ranunculus are my favorite flower. In case you were wondering.

Market day has me motivated. Managed to finish this one along with Mimosa Bird today. Both will be available tomorrow 6/1 .market
