A little rain to contend with, but having fun out here

Renovation of The Tesseract. I am swapping out the original LED tiles for a new design. This custom PCB was designed by Leo Ascarrunz using . Made to order by SenYan Circuits. 144 APA102 LEDs and no components on the back of the board. It fits the exact form-factor of the original tiles so its an easy swap, and will natch the laser etched acrylic. Thick and fat copper on the back means I can pass many amps of 5v through the board and chain them without worrying about voltage sag (saggyness is not good).

at was a success! The poofer was my largest so far with a 1.5 inch solenoid. the was insane! Thanks to .ltd for all the help and for letting me be part of it. More Thanks to Kristin, Roscoe, James, Juraj, and Jed and Autumn for all the support. And Props to Apogaea Art Grants for funding. More pics and video to come.

It was a beautiful day in Boulder. My super cool roomie, Juraj, helped me add some tubes. Not pretty yet but it will be. Each tube has 2 back to back 12v WS2815 strips. Total of 6000 LEDs. that is the question.
