HRHD&M 2020 is canceled.
We regret to announce this to our fans and followers. Due to the uncertainty of permitted gathering sizes, and out of concern for safety, Hot Rods will be postponed and not held this year.
We're going to miss you. Shine your car, eat some good hot dogs and we'll see you down the road.
Remember, Hopelink is still feeding our neighbors!

From our 2014 show, the 1961-62 Corvair 95 (so named for the 95" wheelbase) featured a contrasting color stripe on the side. It was air cooled with a rear mounted flat-six engine. Yes, you could buy a pickup truck with no radiator in those days!

In our 2018 show, Ned & Kathy brought this 1968 Fleetside short bed. Sharp presentation with a 1997 5,7L Vortec engine and a bunch of refinements. Bring your pride and joy to this year's HRHD&M on June 20th!

During the Coolidge and Hoover administrations, Ford produced nearly five million of the Model A (1927-1931). The 201 CID engine provided 40 horsepower (not what's pictured here!). By 1930 there were nine body styles offered. It was fun to drive if you don't need synchro on your three-speed transmission. Early models sold for as low as $385.

From 1958 to 1962 the Chevy Corvette had two-tone paint and four headlights powered by a 283 CID V-8. In those years, it was billed as "America's sports car"

In 1938, HG Wells' "War of the Worlds" caused a stir on radio and Action Comics introduced Superman. Pontiac produced this beauty which has graced HRHD&M.
The subject of history isn't boring when it's told by our cars.

Shana Shaw sports her Camaro convertible. Not only is it beautiful, but looking at its original window sticker will make you cry!

Chrysler first used the name "Newport" on a 1940 show car (they only made five). The 1967 featured some new sheet metal and a sharp look.
