What once was is making room for what’s meant to be. New ideas. New creativity. New purpose.

𝑵𝒐𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕’𝒔 𝒐𝒌𝒂𝒚.

In the small business and entrepreneurship world, one thing I’ve learned over the years, especially in recent times, is that sometimes your very own people will not support you in the way you hoped they would.

They will smile with you.
They will tell you how talented and gifted you are and how amazing your work is.
They will gladly accept when you volunteer your time, your creativity, and your services for free.

But the moment you can no longer consistently volunteer, things begin to change. You are no longer remembered.

This is where the 𝑺𝑯𝑰𝑭𝑻 happens.

In that moment, you begin to truly value your work and stop giving it away. Yet somehow, that same money suddenly finds its way to large corporate businesses.

There was a time when that disappointed me.

But as a woman of faith and as someone who has intentionally shifted my business into a faith-based space, I’ve 𝑮𝑹𝑶𝑾𝑵. I’ve learned not to carry disappointment in my heart anymore.

Instead, I’ve stepped into 𝑫𝑰𝑺𝑪𝑬𝑹𝑵𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑻.

I’ve learned the power of saying 𝑵𝑶.

I’ve learned the importance of operating with 𝑷𝑼𝑹𝑷𝑶𝑺𝑬 and 𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑬𝑵𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵.

And I’ve committed to remaining 𝑷𝑹𝑶𝑭𝑬𝑺𝑺𝑰𝑶𝑵𝑨𝑳, while continuing to create and produce products that reflect 𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆, and 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆.

My assignment isn’t to be understood by everyone.

It is to walk in purpose and trust that the right people will always recognize the value in what I do.

Another Chunky blanket in the making. This color combo is so good. The warm mustard color plus that soft muted sage green is a perfect balance of cozy and elevated. It gives that Autumn luxury, Modern farmhouse chic, Neutral but still rich, Comfort with style
