Edify's team in Rwanda hosted their first-ever Flourishing Godly Leaders (FGL) Bootcamp in August, gathering graduates from schools that partner with Edify for three powerful days of learning, connection, and growth.

At Edify, one of our Core Values is applaud the entrepreneurial spirit, and so we celebrate the drive, grit, and vision of these young leaders stepping out to make a real impact. Throughout the kickoff, they dove deep into:

Equipped with these practical tools, these young leaders are building the foundation to become flourishing godly leaders who transform their communities. Staff Spotlight⭐ Meet Chioma, Program Lead, Christ-Centered Education in Nigeria! Chioma’s journey with Edify officially began in September 2025, but her calling was affirmed during the 2024 staff conference in Denver, Colorado. While prayerfully considering the step, God made her mission clear: the work wasn't about her, but about Him and the people He called her to serve.

Today, Chioma finds her greatest joy in the field, visiting local schools and coming alongside them to support their growth. She also delighted in the preparation and successful hosting of the regional Edify conference in Lagos, Nigeria, this year.

Reflecting on her journey so far, Chioma uses one word to describe how God is working in her heart through Edify: Molding.

When she isn't serving schools, you can find her enjoying DIY projects or spending quality time in her hometown, Uke, which is close to the famous Onitsha market in eastern Nigeria.

We are grateful for Chioma’s heart for service and dedication to seeing schools flourish across Nigeria! 🇳🇬
