Things are moving along at the Midcentury renovation! We’re updating new and also preserving where possible.
1 - new kitchen cabinets going in! 10’ island soon to have a waterfall quartz top.
2 - the tile is going up in the shared bathroom! I love the wood-look next to the stacked white subway tile.
3 - the primary bath will have a sleek modern design. It’s in the early stages but loving it so far!!

Do you like a little glam? I do! This brass and crystal light fixture was just what this Modern Colonial charmer needed in its foyer! I love the addition of the ceiling medallion too! ❤️

We’re embracing the antiquity of our current Colonial renovation project and balancing the old with the new. This is a picture of the backsplash resting on a cabinet door. I’m excited to do something a little different, and add some color, but not too much color. I can’t wait to see the finished project in about 2 more weeks. 🤩

There’s still a long way to go on this charming Colonial home but I am really giddy about how beautiful the floor color is - so warm!! We were able to save the original wood flooring by going slightly darker but it’s a complete win to me!! More to follow… I haven’t posted a lot of pics on this project. There’s nothing like new lighting to transform a renovation. Correctly placed and sized lighting enhances and accentuates the assets of each room or space. Here are a few lighting fixtures from our recent project. Truth: I’m borderline obsessed with the oversized, glass globe pendant over the breakfast nook. It’s understated and bold at the same time due to its 17” width.

Really loving the high ceilings, pops of color, and balance of this living room in our latest renovation. Such a showstopper!! I can envision large family gatherings in this space. Light. Bright. Spacious.

Home of the Week: Stow raised ranch is a refuge next to a refuge - The Boston Globe Renovated property boasts a pool with a cabana, a family room with a wood ceiling, and a wildlife sanctuary for a neighbor.

I ❤️ this transformation. One of the best decisions we made was to modernize the siding and paint the brick to balance the height and length of this home.
